After 10 days ….

"I swear I will go all nuclear on you if you rat me out, Max", I hissed as I led the blindfolded Lycan towards the secret room at the back of the library to meet his blindfolded mate- which was a strict no, no before the wedding, from the elders.

Why didn’t they just fix the date of the wedding the day after the proposal only ?
