"Let go!" Cherish Turner yelled, her eyes reddening as she glared unblinkingly at Tanigawa Kenichi.
Frozen by her stare, Tanigawa Kenichi held his ground for a few seconds before finally releasing his grip.
For a moment, awkward silence fell upon the two occupants in the room.
"What exactly is going on? Where is he, why isn't he here?"
Cherish naturally understood who Tanigawa Kenichi was referring to, but how was she supposed to answer?
Looking at her dejected reflection, Cherish despised her own state. The torturous late hours of the night when she couldn't prevent herself from thinking about him were driving her insane.
She really wanted to confront him, to ask him clearly how he really felt about her. She didn't seem able to accept the fact that their destiny together had ended just like that—it was even more unbearable than death.
Perhaps, Cherish Turner just wanted a reason to let go.
