Henry Russell was sent flying by the impact, and he fell heavily onto the ground.

"Henry!" Charlotte cried out, scrambling to her feet and stumbling toward Henry.

The car that hit him sped away immediately afterwards.

Henry now lay in a pool of blood. Tears flowed from Charlotte's eyes as she gazed at him, her face full of sorrow.

Henry's eyes were closed, making him appear lifeless if not for the faint sound of his breathing.

Charlotte quickly called an ambulance and the police.

Luckily, they weren't far from a hospital. An ambulance arrived soon to take Henry away, with Charlotte accompanying him.

The ambulance siren blared urgently. Meanwhile, Henry lay on a stretcher, and the medical staff administered emergency treatment.

Charlotte's tears continued to fall.

Upon reaching the hospital, Henry was rushed into the emergency room for resuscitation.
