Charlotte Cooper arrived at the agreed-upon café first, and as the time drew near, she still hadn't seen Lily Clark appearing. Charlotte was getting a bit anxious. After all, Cloud Russell was still poisoned, and she had to get the antidote quickly. But first, she had to see Lily Clark.
Just as the time came, a tall, stunning woman walked in through the door. If Charlotte hadn't been tricked and framed by Lily Clark time and time again, she might really have liked her. After all, she was a model with both beautiful body and face.
"Sorry, I got held up on the way." Lily Clark sat down, showing no signs of apology at all.
Although Charlotte was annoyed, there was nothing she could do. It was indeed her own fault for coming too early, and she couldn't blame Lily Clark. But it just exposed her desperation.
"Miss Cooper, didn't you come a bit early?" Lily Clark asked condescendingly, her voice full of self-satisfaction seeing through Charlotte's anxiety.
