Charlotte laughed at Susan's excessive alarm, but Susan thought Charlotte was ungrateful. After all, she was now Charlotte's agent, and they were like two grasshoppers on the same rope; if anything happened to Charlotte, Susan wouldn't get off easy either.
Susan drove over herself, wearing sunglasses and a mask, ensuring Charlotte wasn't stuck at the airport.
"Your driving skills have improved a lot," Charlotte watched as Susan pulled the handbrake and stepped on the accelerator with a series of smooth moves.
A kind compliment was met with a snort of laughter, "If you'd cause me less worry, my skills would be even better." Without dealing with Charlotte's unworldly personality, Susan wouldn't develop such good memory and feel for cars and roads.
There were just too many pesky paparazzi.
Susan brought Charlotte back home, so she could get some much-needed sleep after a nearly full day of hectic work.
But, suddenly without Henry by her side, Charlotte didn't feel quite settled.
