After hanging up the phone, Lily McKenzie's words seemed to echo in his ears, and Henry Russell felt a little annoyed.
When he went to visit Charlotte Cooper, he was frequently lost in thought.
"Henry Russell?" Charlotte frowned and called out.
"What's the matter?" Henry quickly looked at her.
"Nothing, it's just that you seem a bit distracted. What are you thinking about?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.
Henry seemed a bit off today.
"Just some company matters." Henry was somewhat evasive, not looking into Charlotte's eyes, but fortunately, she didn't ask further.
"What do you want to eat tonight? I'll ask Mason Jad to buy it."
After Charlotte finished speaking, she noticed that Henry was a little out of it again.
"What's going on? Are you busy tonight?" she asked, frowning.
Seeing Henry not denying it, Charlotte laughed, "You're not going to meet a lover, are you?"
Henry glared at her, "You're the only lover I have."
