A flash of confusion in her eyes, Charlotte Cooper said the name of the banquet venue.

"Find a corner to sit first, and I'll come to find you in a while. Let Mason stay with you."

Although Henry Russell's tone wasn't much different from usual, Charlotte still sensed his seriousness.

"Did something happen? Why do I feel like you're not quite normal?"

"I'm normal every day." Henry laughed and then hung up the phone.

Charlotte felt baffled.

Sierra Thornton had already left with a cold snort.

"Sick." Charlotte grumbled and returned to the venue. The place where she and Lucas Martin were sitting was a secluded corner, so she thought it was a good idea to go back.

"What took you so long?" Lucas handed her a bottle of wine and asked.

"Ran into a lunatic, no problem." Charlotte shrugged.

Henry hung up the call and had Wind Austin drive to Charlotte's banquet venue, then leaned back in the rear seat with his eyes closed.
