"\"What's the matter?\" Charlotte Cooper looked at him, puzzled.

Lucas Carter turned to the side of the actress, \"Miss Cooper and I have something to discuss, could you leave us alone for a bit?\"

The actress nodded vigorously.

\"Thank you.\" Henry Russell smiled at her as a gentleman.

The woman blushed and ran away with her script.

\"What do you want to say?\" Charlotte pulled Ella next to her to sit down and looked up at him.

\"I heard about what happened last night. I was away early due to other matters, so I wasn't aware of what happened to you afterwards. I'm sorry.\" He apologized to Charlotte.

\"It's not really your concern.\"Charlotte replied indifferently.

Ella was held by Charlotte to listen to their conversation, her gossiping little fire burning.

\"I should have stopped so many people from forcing you to drink that night.\"

Charlotte didn't know the purpose behind his statements.
