Your daughter here is quite amazing… she's so observant at such a young age and that is why I want to make her my personal student, that is if you agree, and of course you…" Yani said with a light smile as she just looked straight in Elisa's direction completely ignoring Alvitr who was hugging her from behind as if she didn't matter at all.
She already knows that once Elisa agreed it was a guarantee that Alvitr would also say yes because in her mind Elisa being taught by Yani is one of the best things that could happen because she was a strong mage who could definitely teach and pass her knowledge to Elisa.
"Do you also know a lot of Magic, Auntie?" Elisa asked, her eyes brightening in excitement. Even though it was all just acting, she was actually curious to know what Yani could teach her that she didn't know already. If it were just Magic, she would refuse because in this world, her Element did not limit her, and she could practically use anything.
The only thing that can make her agree to be her student is if Yani can teach her some tricks, methods, and just anything that interests her. It would be better if Yani knew something that she doesn't, especially when it comes to controlling Magic because she knows that she exactly doesn't have the best control, whether it was in this world or in the original world. She still gets beaten by the likes of Mirel, Aria, and the others whom she has met.
That is the only thing that she wants to learn, this is also the exact reason why she agreed to be taught by Skadi because she has something that she doesn't, which is a way to control someone else's Element, and from what she has learned so far, it is not a matter whoever has a better control over that Element, but rather a technique itself. So if Yani has something to offer then she would be gladly to learn it from her.
"Hmmm… Teaching you the basics and advanced stuff wouldn't do well because you will learn them eventually… Oh, how about this? Do you know the faster way to how you can strengthen your Mana? Considering that you have read a lot then I'm sure you know that one of the best ways to strengthen your Mana is by concentrating it too much denser Mana?" Yani asked her as she flicked her fingers and made a flicker of Mana fly in the air.
Hearing this, Elisa only nodded her head because this was also her way of strengthening her Mana, but when she heard that it was only one of the best ways, her ears perked up because she thought that it was the only way to strengthen the Mana foundation of a person. But it seems that she was wrong because she could tell that what Yani is about to teach her is something even more powerful and effective.
"But the way you concentrate it is by putting outside Mana, right? But we all know that it is not really efficient because it will get polluted, of course, you are still concentrating on Mana, but it's not pure anymore which makes it less powerful. But there's another way, it holds the same principle, but just more effective and powerful. Watch it and don't blink~" Yani smiled as she made another flicker of Mana and combined it with the first one and Elisa's eyes widened because of how fluently the two mixed together.
Yani was right about everything she said, but what shocked her was how she was able to do such a thing, which should have been impossible already. Once your Mana leaves your body, it becomes a charged particle, and when you let out another one and mix it with the first one, it won't work because they are both charged. All of this is because they have the same charge.
"You're questioning how I was able to make the two attract each other when they should have repelled, right? So are you now interested in becoming my student?" Yani asked with a playful smile as she took a sip of her wine while looking straight into Elisa's eyes because she now knew that she got her full attention and that she would most likely agree with her.
"Do you really want to teach me, Auntie? If that is the case, then I would say yes, because in the future I want to be a great Detective, and this would help me a lot!" Elisa lied through her teeth by saying the Detective part but of course, she wanted to learn it nonetheless because it was such a powerful technique if she could really master it.
"Then it is set, so what do you say, Alvitr? We now only need your approval so that Elisa here can be officially my student. But don't worry though, I will be only teaching her stuff about Magic, anything about literature or any other else, Adele can still take care of that as no one is just going to beat her in that field." Yani said as she could already see the worry of the two ladies so she went to that already so that they wouldn't worry too much.
"Well… if you promise me that much, then I don't really have to worry. But you gotta promise me that you will take care of her, okay?" Alvitr said as she made Yani promise something in return so that she would approve of letting her daughter study Magic under Yani directly.
Yani simply chuckled at this before promising Alvitr because she also knew that the moment that she suggested that Elisa turn directly for her, she knew that she would have to take care of her. Plus she was still a child so it was natural for her and she couldn't pinpoint why, but she couldn't help but feel that the presence of Elisa helped her to calm down and evenmades her feel peaceful.
"Yes. Don't worry, Alvitr. I'll take care of Elisa. As the Empress and as your dear friend. I'll take care of Elisa as long as she is with me and to the best of my abilities." Yani said as she even raised her hand like she was making an oath.
"Then I no longer have any problem. Elisa… be a good girl for Mommy okay and don't make a lot of trouble for Yani, she might be a little strict, but I can assure you that she would be a fine and great teacher for you. Because at one point in her life, she was actually offered to be the Grand Master of the Magician's Tower, but she refused it due to some private reasons."
