章 106: Shattered Glass and a Broken Heart

"You will cook 'us' something to eat," he smiled at her, "Remember what I said earlier. You will be staying with me so that I can monitor you. I don't want to see you pale and fainting again. Let's go."

He opened the door, and she stared at him for a brief moment. Then, sighing, looked back at her mother and smiled. She then walked toward the door and stepped out of the room. 

"Wait for me by the elevator," he told her, grabbing his phone from his pants pocket, "I need to make a few calls."

She nodded and walked to the elevator. She watched Bai scroll through his phone and call someone. After he finished that call, he called two more people. When he was done, which was after ten minutes, he put his phone back into his pocket.
