How dare that commoner make me look weak in front of my followers like that!?, I'll make sure he will pay the price for defiance, I'll have to call In a few few favours, but I should make it in time for tomorrow.
Gold has been tight lately, and father has really tightened my purse strings, and I need more support if I am to take the crown, and support isn't cheap, and grandfather dotes on Leo that little simpleton like a child.
So what if I like Torturing some commoner women from time to time? It's my right as royalty, they should be happy they are chosen.
I would normally just take care of that filth in private, but his father makes it difficult, so I'll have to have to take this into my own hands..... it will be an easy victory, but, but I'll "borrow"a few Pokémon to secure my victory in case of an upset.
I know from my sources, ineeta gold hasn't joined the merchant union yet, I have to strike now before they change their minds… if I take control of their main money makers, I should be able to control that company easy enough, merchants respect money, not people.
I have had a few of my followers try and get inside the company, but they seem very private… I even had a few try to force their way in with strength, that didn't work either, so the this is the only way I can think of.
But now it's personal, to treat ME a prince of the Sinnoh kingdom like that, I will make sure his Pokémon "accidentally" die during our match...

So on my way home I start to take stock of what I know and some future plans.
today was a pretty good day besides having to sit through those delusional classes, are all country's nobles like this? If so I have no idea how the human race has survived this long.
But oh well, what can you do…. On my way home I noticed a few people eyeing me again, nobles with a bone to pick probably, doesn't matter though, gengar can take care of any immediate threat.
When I first arrived in this world, all I wanted was to chill out and live a lazy life by the sea, a few mons, a joint in hand and just see where the days take me...I found out rather fast if I want anything close to that I'm going to need to build myself up
So for that end, I have to have to have my own land, and I'm going to have to build my own city from scratch, I've been to a few city's and their all dogshit, between their building methods, lack of Sewage systems and general running water, to their just general disregard of building placements.
I've checked over the Sinnoh maps, and while there is plenty of land available, it's up to the noble in question to clear the land and make it hospital to humans…
Unclaimed land are full of Pokémon species that straight up don't like humans, from the deadlier bug types, to untamed feline types, a pack of wild luxray are no joke.
Leo " so, who are you going to get to judge the battle?"
Gideon " Jesus fuck!!!….. how did you get there!?"
Leo " I've been talking to you since we left the academy... you invited me?"
Gideon " that doesn't sound like something I'd do….but we are going to have to put a bell on you or something you can't just sneak up on me like that "
Leo " sneak up? I've been speaking to you the whole time? Haven't you been listening?"
Gideon " no I haven't, but that's not important, what is important is I need Kane to judge tomorrows battle"
Leo " grandpa? Why?"
Gideon " when I stomp that little piss ant tomorrow I need someone who has some authority to oversee it, he looks like a weasel and I bet he will try to get out of it or say I cheated, so Kane can put a stop to that and enforce the Bet"
Leo " well I can ask, but I'm not sure if he will agree"
Gideon " he fucking better, he eats my food, drinks my booze, and smokes my weed, and all I'm asking is for him to spare 20 minutes to watch me stomp his I'm assuming least favourite grandson"
Leo " well when you put it like that....I'm pretty sure we were coming over for dinner tonight anyways, so you could ask him then"
Gideon " see, a regular pair of royal bums"
Later that night
Kane " so you want me to be the judge of the match because you don't trust Magnus?"
Gideon " that's right, as I said to Leo he looks like a weasel, it will be a 3v3, you're there to make sure he coughs up after he loses"
Kane " well fair enough, I can imagine him trying to sneak his way out of it, and having me as judge would make that hard, but you understand that 100,000 is a lot of gold, and it will be coming out of the royal treasury when you win right?"
Gideon " yeah I get it, but a deals a deal, I didn't make him take this bet, and I don't mind if it's paid partially in building material
And other such things"
Kane " oh and why would that be?"
Gideon " as you know I have to strike out on my own and claim my own territory, I haven't found an ideal place yet but I will eventually and when that time comes, I will be ready for it, I want my place up and running as soon as possible"
Kane looks interested in my thoughts on this particular matter for some reason.
Keane " there is plenty of land to reclaim around the kingdom, perhaps you would indulge an old man's curiosity?….. what is this ideal land you seem certain to find?"
I look up to the ceiling and start listing off my ideal location to set up a city, using my fingers to count as I go.
Gideon " well it's gotta be by the coast, and it needs a huge cove, I'd like to build a port city and I also need my home close to the sea for my mons, It's got to have a decent sized arable land, or the potential to be arable land, it would be pretty tight if it was in decent proximity of another "friendly" country, so I can set up a trade route but not so close that I would would take the first punch in the face should a war break out , but that's "ideal" and I'm sure I can't get everything on that list, just near the ocean is hard enough...people have already taken the good spots"
Kane just seems to think to himself for a minute before he gets a cheeky little smile that I don't like, what's this old man planning?
Kane " you more or less just described the land about a months south of the storm territory, it has a giant cove that would make for perfect for building a port city, plenty of tillable land, and also not to far from the Johto kingdom"
I'm sensing a a huge BUT coming….
Kane " but…. Well... first the cove in speaking about is called magikarp cove…."
That doesn't sound to bad…
Kane " it's where at least 3 different swarms of gyarados lay theirs eggs seasonally, each swarm led by a champion ranked gyarados"
Fucking gyarados swarms?? Plural?! That's a problem, I can see why no one has claimed it.
Kane " and also..."

Kane " those particular lands are home to family of snorlax, with atleast 2 confirmed champion ranked snorlax living on the mountain near the coast...…and rumour has it that there is even a guardian level snorlax watching over the family….."
Well fuck that place, way to much for me to handle...maybe…..
Gideon " why would you even suggest something like that? A pissed off guardian can end a kingdom…. And you would want me to just what?…..walk up to it and ask if it would leave?…"
Kane " normally I wouldn't but, snorlax aren't really the wipe a kingdom out type of pokemon, they're very placid pokemon, very powerful as well and easy to tame, it's just nearly Impossible to feed them, even nobles would have to spend a considerable amount to keep them fed...but again, very placid and not really the vengeful type unless you touch their food or children, I noticed how close you are with your Pokémon, and combined with the heavenly food you make, I thought you might be able to do something about them"
That made me and think, I do have unlimited Pokémon food...and according to my mons all other food is shit compared to it, maybe I can bribe the snorlax crew? But that leaves the giant cannibal nuke spitting sea leviathans….hmmmm, 3 champion gyarados against my gyarados and azumarill, but I doubt the swarm would just watch, so….not great odds...but maybe…..not to mention the other shit that could go wrong , only if I can get them fighting near land….maybe it could work, but I doubt it would be easy…
Gideon " that still leaves the champion gyarados….."
Kane just smiled at me, like he knew what I was thinking... I'm not enjoying this constant eye contact that's for sure….
Gideon " well none of that matters right now, are you going to be the judge tomorrow?"
Kane " sure kid, should be fun to watch the little brat get what's coming"
Gideon " cool beans, well you and Leo should mozzie on home, I gotta pop back home and pick something up for tomorrow"
So they say their goodbyes, and head out the door, I'm still in my own head about it, I'll have to see it for myself to see if it's worth all the shit I would probably have to go through to get that land.
I head out back and call my mons together, takes them a few minutes to gather, but I gotta let 'em know what's up
Gideon " already boys and girls, we got a battle with some assholes prince tomorrow and it's a 3v3, I know some of you would be excited to fight, but let me tell you now, it's most likely ganna be a stomp, even with him probably cheating, pretty sure it's going to be king ranks at best"
I see some of the excitement drop, but that's fine, I already have a plan
Gideon " it's going to be Rhyperior up first, and I won't be commanding you much, you've already learned to fight solo so we will stick with that, but…. I'm going to pull you out of the third match, I'm bringing in the fish...it's time to introduce him to the kingdom"
They seemed surprised that I would take gyarados into this little squabble, but I thought he would make for an even better deterrent, what's worse then a mad dog of a man that responds to little provocations in Downright brutal retaliations?
That same man with a king gene, champion ranked, gyarados, one of the most feared and violent Pokémon in the world…..
