章 101: Good For You

The car race went on with consecutive losses for Valerie which Lucian felt very much boastful about. However, in the last round, he purposefully let her win, saying this was his manner of doting on her. 

Knowing he was trying to annoy on her purpose— and although she wouldn't admit it, it worked— she huffed and knew no good outcome would come out of spending much more time with him.

Therefore, she decided to head home.

However, Lucian seemed to have other thoughts. According to him, he wasn't done spending time with her, and they chose to have ice-cream while watching the starry night sky. The spot chosen by him gave them a pretty view.

Nevertheless, he regretfully had expressed that his schedule started early tomorrow, and this meant both of their paths will have to separated. This made the despondency form inside of her chest.
