It didn't take a while for Valerie to decide that nothing good would be coming out of his presence here, and at that, she was about to quickly close the door in his face, but her movements haven't been fast enough.

He slammed open the door, creating a loud noise.

Then, those eyes holding rage fell on her, as though he wished to burn her down from his gaze alone. Even in his battered up state, he was much stronger than Valerie, and Valerie didn't want to cower under his gaze anymore.

She backed away, searching for something appropriate to grab, while her perceptive eyes were on him.

"You, bitch, this is all because of you! You ruined it all! I shouldn't have taken you in! I should have left you on the streets to die. Because of you now, I am totally ruined. You, ungrateful wretch! If I am going down, I will take you with me! I will ruin you totally! Don't think you are able to get away from it safely!"
