"Are they all coming?" I looked at the she-wolf who approached me.

"Yes, Alpha king," she nodded, glancing at the spot beside me on the hill. She wanted to sit with me, but the look I gave her made it clear I wasn't interested in her doing that. "What else do you need?"

Psyche was a fast learner. The werewolves were reluctant to embrace the Shurakai technology, believing they were unworthy of it. So, everything we taught them was done manually, which I respected since that was how I was taught. However, Psyche was hungry to learn and was determined to master everything. It made her more motivated than the others, especially learning to communicate with the other packs. She was far from fluent but could say a few basic words.

It was a valuable skill, which is why I wanted her help, even though it was risky to have her so close.
