How long have I sat here? I rub my face and glance at the desk before me to find Ava busy knitting a blanket for Pen-Pen. Yeah, I wasn't buying that sweet older lady routine anymore. That woman was a beast.

The worst part was her reasons were practical and made complete sense! So, I couldn't argue with her when she came to get me this morning.
