章 453: Chapter 435 ( Confrontation Inconclusive )
Cloud gave the boy a glance before turning his attention back to Zebro - "I think it's enough of waiting, we're going in."
"Ok, go carefully" - Zebro replied as he nodded, then looked at the others - "What are you guys here for?"
"We've come to see our friend Killua!" - Gon exclaimed excitedly.
"Master Killua?" - Zebro asked in surprise - "You know him?"
"We became friends during the hunter's test" - answered Gon honestly - "But during the last test, he killed one of the participants and was disqualified, which was strange because he was acting out of character."
". . ." - Zebro was silent for a few seconds before trying to look for falsehood in the boy's words, only to find honesty - "I understand, though I can't just let them pass just like that."
"I know, we heard we have to go through that gate, right?" - Gon asked as he pointed towards the huge metal gate.
"Exactly" - nodded Zebro as he looked at the trio - "They're not ready to go in yet though, so I'm going to have to tell them to get ready because I'll train them with everything I've got!"
"You'll train us?" - Leorio exclaimed in surprise.
"I can't just stand idly by when young master Killua's friends have come to see him" - Zebro replied calmly as he looked at the group - "Fine, we'll start right away!"
"Hai!" -the boys exclaimed as they nodded firmly.

cloud, Kyoko, and Kyōka, quickly arrived at the entrance of a huge mansion, only to notice how a group was already waiting for them, which was being led by a muscular man with long white hair.
"I guess Netero informed them that we were coming," said Cloud as he folded his arms.
"Yeah, though we thought you'll would come much later" - replied the white haired man as he released a bit of his aura, only to notice how the three newcomers, didn't even seem to flinch - "Not bad, I guess Netero was right".
"Ok, enough chatter, I've come to check how strong you are" - Kyōka said as she took a few steps forward and cracked her knuckles - "I've been looking forward to fighting against you, the strongest family on this continent."
"You should treat us with more respect, young lady" - said the woman who was wearing a purple Victorian dress along with a cap of the same colour. Her body was covered by bandages, and she had some sort of robotic visor over her eyes.
Kyōka smiled fiercely as she unleashed her full power all at once.
Kikyo was surprised when she felt the enormous pressure released by the young blue-haired girl, only to begin to feel an enormous interest - "Tell me, would you like to marry one of my children and become my apprentice?"
"I'm sorry, but I'm already married" - Kyōka snorted as she rejected the blindfolded woman's proposal.
"Oh, that's a pity" - Kikyo replied as she sighed regretfully, after all, it wasn't every day that she could find such a perfect girl to join her family.
"I share your opinion, it's a pity, but there's nothing we can do about it" - replied Silvia, the current leader of the Zoldyck family, as well as Killua's father and Kikyo's husband.
"Ok, enough words, let's fight" - said Kyōka while narrowing her eyes.
"I have no problem with fighting, but I can't just do it" - Silva replied while shaking his head - "As the current leader of the Zoldyck family, I have an appearance to maintain, so I can't just accept every duel they ask me to."
"Makes sense" - nodded Kyōka as she looked around - "So, who will I have to fight first?"
"That would be my youngest son, Killua" - Silva replied as a white-haired boy of about 10-12 years old walked in front of his father and looked at the 'guests' curiously.
"Killua? Like the boy Gon and the others came to see?" - Kyoka asked as she tilted her head in confusion.
"Did you say Gon?!" - Killua exclaimed as he appeared in front of the group.
"A good speed" - nodded Cloud as he looked curiously at one of the protagonists of this world.
". . ." - Kikyo frowned when she heard this, after all, she had tasked her eldest son to do everything he could to get Killua home, but now it was obvious that he had no desire to stay at the estate with how excited he was to see the friends he made during the [Hunter Test].
"Is he the boy you mentioned, Killua?" - Silvia asked as he stroked his chin. Someone his youngest son treated with such respect and familiarity despite the short time, had to be someone interesting.
"Gon Freecss, that's my best friend's name," Killua replied as he looked at his father.
"Did you say Freecss?" - Silva asked in surprise and with even more interest because he didn't know that bastard had managed to conceive a child, not with how busy he was and how annoying he was as a person.
"Is there something wrong with his last name?" - Killua asked as he frowned.
"No, it's nothing," Silva replied as he started to think.
If the boy was the son of his acquaintance, then there was no problem with Killua becoming friends with the young Freecss.
Kyōka watched the interaction between the family with a frown as she sighed regretfully, after all, it seemed she might not get the battle she desired - "We'd better come back another day, I don't feel like fighting anymore".
"And that's saying a lot" - Cloud replied as he shook his head - "I guess we'll come back later".
"Why don't you stay at our home?" - Silva asked ruefully, after all, they seemed to have ignored the challenge.
"No, we have some things to do, but we appreciate your hospitality" - Cloud replied as he grabbed the two women by the waist and created a pair of wings on his back to fly off at full speed.
Silva watched this with surprise, only to burst into thought at full capacity.
"What is it, father?" - Killua asked as he noticed father's expression.
"No, it's nothing," replied Silva as he looked at his father, wife and ancestor.
The aforementioned understood the message from the current family leader, and nodded without a second thought.
"Ok, Killua, you can go to the entrance to see your friends, but I forbid you to go with them unless they manage to pass the test that all our guests must pass" - said Silva seriously - "Is that clear?"
"As crystal" - Killua replied as he nodded firmly. He understood that his father would no longer meddle in their affairs, but to do so, Gon and the others at least had to be strong enough to be able to show themselves to them as guests. If they were weak, then Silva would ignore them even if the boy was the son of Ging Freecss.
"By the way, they have a week to get the third door open.
"That's more than enough time for them to make it," Killua replied as he folded his arms, after all, he trusted Gon and the others.
"Ok, you can go" - nodded Silva as he returned home along with the other members of the family.
"I don't think it's a good idea for Killua to be friends with that boy, more so knowing that he's possibly Ging's son" - Kikyo said as she folded her arms.
"On the contrary, I am sure that this will make our son the strongest Zoldyck the clan has ever seen" - Silva replied seriously - "If what I have heard from Ging is true, then the adventures in store for his son will be breathtaking, bordering on lethal"
"Danger and adventures, they make us grow" - replied Zeno, Killua's grandfather as he recalled his past - "Only with dangerous, we Zoldyck show our full potential, don't you think the same Illumi?"
"As much as it pains me to accept it, Killua needs his own adventures if he is to become that much stronger" - replied Illumi, the eldest son of the family - "All of us here present, know in our hearts that Killua does not wish to continue our line of work."
"Milluki doesn't wish to continue being an assassin either, and we accept that, why not do the same with Killua?" - Zeno asked as Kikyo bit her lip as she had high hopes for her son to take command of the Zoldyck family in the future.
"I guess that solves one of our problems, now all that's left is to figure out what to do with our guests" - Silva said as he narrowed his eyes - "I'll be honest, that man is stronger than me, and possibly not human."
"Not human?" - Illumi asked in surprise.
"If my suspicions are correct, then he could be a mythical creature that managed to take human form after reaching a certain level of power," replied Silva as he began to think.
"I'm not so sure about this, though", Silva replied as he began to think.
