章 96: 93 Determination
Starrk looked at the red hooked scythe in my hands, his eyebrows furrowed.
"I see so you can change the shape of your weapon huh."
A/N: I can't find any good looking red scythes so can anyone give me suggestions?
"Lesson one, don't talk in the middle of battle." I said quickly and without a heartbeat, I appeared behind him with the chain wrapping around his neck in front and the scythe behind him.
He disappeared and appeared directly in front of me crouching with his right pistol pointed at my stomach.
His reiatsu gathered in front of the gun hole as my haki flashed.
"Cero metralleta."
I appeared a few meters away from me and looked at my stomach, there, was a large burned spot.
When I saw that he was going to use that barrage of ceros, I used armament haki on my stomach while moving away.
Even though I still got hurt, it still did it's job. Starrk sent 4 more shots my way and I all dodged them.
I leaned to the left just before a cero hit me from below, diving down net to him, I punched him with Amber being in gauntlet form.
He tried blocking it with his guns but it proved futile as my red fist punched his hands away and landed on his face.
I didn't give him time as I transformed Amber in her arrow form and fired 10 shots infused with fire and wind energy.
The result made 10 arrows with flaming tornado like winds around them, I controlled them all and made them surround him in every direction and in close proximity to each other.
So if he destroys one of them, It'll explode and the ones close to it will also be affected by the blast and detonate as well. Causing a chain reaction.
After Starrk regained his footing, he immediately put his guard up and surveyed his surroundings, he saw 10 arrows with strong winds around them heading towards him in all directions.
Judging by the dense reiatsu in them, he knew that they would exploded if they were destroyed.
Although his face still hurt by the punch earlier, he came up with a plan and that was too destroy them and use his ceros to absorb the blast.
He gathered his reiatsu on his right gun and shot multiple ceros at one's on all directions.
His plan worked but he knew that he still in danger now that he can't see his enemy.
He went up but a cero came out of the smoke from his left to intercept him, he let the cero pass through as he ducked. Narrowly avoiding a a red blade.
I sent a knee kick to the kneeling Starrk but he pointed his right pistol at me and knowing what he was about to do next, I retreated into the smoke.
When he saw me disappear, he spin around while shooting the ceros, blowing away the smoke.
After he finished shooting ceros, I clashed with him again.
--4 hours later--
Both Starrk and Lylinette were on the ground, panting for dear life while being covered in sweat.
"Hahahaha, that was a good warmup, how about we fight for real now?" I joked.
The both of them moved their eye tiredly towards me and looked at me.
"Hah.... Hahhhhh... I.... I'm too... Tired to even go on... A rant right now." Lilynette forced the last part out of her mouth.
"Haha nah I'm just kidding with you two I'm also exhausted." Well only a little bit though.
"Don't worry, this won't become an every day thing." I said to them, I could see the relief appear in their eyes.
"But I will regularly do this every 4 days."
Never have I seen so much despair and sadness go into someone's face, I could see their souls crying out. They looked like they got even more exhausted despite not doing anything.
"But if you guys show me a good battle then I'll make it only once a week." After saying that I left.
--Starrk and Lylinette Pov--
After hearing the last part, both of them visibly exhale a sign of relief, after several minutes of resting, Lilynette sat up.
"Damn, what is that guy? Even after fighting him for hours with our all he looked like what he said earlier was true." She said in frustration.
"Yeah I agree with you there." Starrk also rose up and said.
"Next time we'll have our payback on that guy!" Lylinette suddenly stood up but after saying that she suddenly bent her back.
'Owwww my body hurts.'
