章 7: Second Game
The boys now were 1-0
They were on to play Sentobai Junior High and they were going over some of their gameplay from the previous week before that and what had happened would surprise you this team was actually decent and that had a shifty PG and that was about it but they weren't better than Shoei.
This honestly made them worried but they know that they would win
2 Days Later
It was time for them to play against Sentobai and the first years promised they would go out with a bang.
Nurami got the tipoff sprinting down the court was Shin going as fast as he could and he got the ball from the pass by Muriki and then he got an easy layup.
They got in a press to stop them from getting up the court and Muriki and Shin were ready so they were about to press their ball handler they tried to throw it to their small forward but it was intercepted by Aomine who passed it Hezoku who then posted up for an easy point.
Sentobai had penetrated deeply and fast down the court and in return as the ballhandler tried a hesitation dribble which led to a steal by Shin.
Shin fiercely sped down the court as a defender did as well he did a euro step causing his defender to be off-balanced leading to another lay up made.
The score was 15 to 6 entering the next quarter as they kept on going it became a better game but as they kept on playing the first years continued to get hot and kept getting hot by the end of the game Shin ended it with a double scoring 16 points and 10 steals and 5 assists.
The final score was 74-51
Coach: " Good work young fellas on the work and I'm very proud because of you guys' work ethic"
Team: " Yes Ma'am!"
After that one boy on the team of Sentobai had caught Shin's attention he had gray hair and green eyes.
Shin: "Good work you were their best player."
Unknown Player: " Thanks, Man"
Shin: " What' s your name?"
Unknown Player: "Yunika"
Shin: " Well alright Yunika good game hope to see you again."
Shin had told his parents about the game and they had come to the assumption that Shin's passion in life was to play basketball.
This was only the start of a lifelong career Shin was about to accomplish he knew the outcome before he even came to this world.
