章 104: Lost and terrified

"Are you attending Sabrina Hawthrone's wedding?" Amaya Engelson asked as she looked at Callum. By pulling some strings, she succeeded in joining the project that Callum was heading. 

"Why would I?" Callum asked with a scoff. "Miss Hawthorne and I are not acquainted." 

If Amaya knew the reason why Sabrina failed to marry King Leonardo, she wouldn't have asked him this question. The marriage of Sabrina Hawthorne was a huge event in the country as she was the former candidate for the Queen but a commoner like Giselle defeated the noble lady and took the spot next to His Majesty, King Leonardo. 

"But you are friends with Captain Gabriel, "Amaya reminded him. 

Callum cursed. Of course, he was acquainted with Gabriel. If he didn't attend the wedding, Gabriel would eat his brain out. He didn't want to attend the wedding because he hates these snotty nobles of the Maisean empire with a great passion.
