"So, what did you want me to design for you?" Maya asked after chasing a bite of sandwich down with some water.
Vincent appeared a bit sheepish. She had never seen that expression on his face before and it piqued her curiosity. "This may sound strange…but I recently bought an island in the south pacific. It's about an hour away from New Zealand by boat and is roughly the size of Maui in the Hawaiian Islands.
"I would need you to design some very specific buildings for me. One would need to be a gigantic warehouse similar to an airplane hangar that could hold some rather large machinery. It would need to be larger than the world's current largest hangar coming in at 600,000 square feet. Is that possible?"
She nearly snorted at the thought that she had married someone who could afford to buy an island on a whim. Insane. Absolutely insane! But she had to admit the idea sparked a part of her she had feared was gone forever.
