章 33: Chapter 33

"Unlucky!" Nico squeaked rubbing his stomach which was hurting even more.

For a moment Nico remembered the food Rahel had prepared this morning. The young girl said that she would store food in the cupboard in the kitchen. Nico immediately descended the stairs to the kitchen.

Nico snorted heavily, his nose sniffing the food that was on the plate he took from the kitchen cupboard. "Is it stale yet?" Nico grumbled, he seemed hesitant to touch the food on the plate. So far, Nico had never known what stale food was.

"Sir!"

Nico was taken aback. He glanced briefly at a young girl in pajamas with a hand holding a milk bottle. Nico hurriedly put the plate of food back into the cupboard.

"Rachel?" Nico said a little surprised, "Why, how come you didn't sleep?" Nico tried to cover up his nervousness.
