章 4: Chapter 4
KAKASHI'S POV
I already finished my mission and now I'm on my way back to the village. I jumped from tree to tree in fast paced so that I can get to the village earlier.
"Aahh..I can't wait to get to the village and read my Icha Icha book. Maybe I can ask Hokage-sama for a day off."
On my way, suddenly I saw a kid sat under a tree. It looked like he's thinking of something. I stopped my journey for a while as I was curious of what's the kid doing. Plus this area is in the area of Konohagakure. It's not hurt to check.
I sat on a tree branch not far away from the kid. After a few minutes of watching him, I suddenly heard he said something.
"Well, world is full of possibilities and mysteries after all." the kid said.
'Indeed, it is.' I said in my head agreeing to the statement.
I saw the kid rosed up from his sitting position and started walking away. I knew his a child and there's no point in spying on him but I'm still curious of whose this kid is. I mean, a random kid suddenly appeared in the middle of the forest with no adult. That's strange enough. And in the Konoha vicinity too.
I started following the kid until I saw him stopped walking for a moment and he just kept staring at the bushes in front of him. I looked to the bushes he looked at and find nothing. I wanted to use my sharingan to make sure that there's nothing there,but before I could do that, the kid suddenly running away to the opposite direction of the bushes. I also followed the kid while increased my speed to catch up to him. I tell you, this kid is fast. Is it because he's a kid and have a small body that he can ran fast?
I put my thoughts aside and continued to focus on the kid. The next thing I knew, the kid is underwater. I was shocked at his action and I'm about to go down to save the kid but changed my mind when I saw the kid got back up to the land. I admitted, I was a little bit panicked there since I never expected that to happened. But then I felt relieved that he doesn't plan to drown himself in the first place.
"Great. Now my clothes are wet and I didn't have any spare clothes." I heard the kid complained about his clothes.
'Why did you jump into the river if you don't want your clothes to get wet?!!" I said in my mind with a little bit of confusion.
I knew it's not weird to see a kid jumping into the river but I still wondering. Why did the kid jumped into the river? And why did he running away in the first place? At first I thought he already sensed my presence, but that idea crumbled away after I saw him relaxed while trying to take a breath after got out from the river. If he already sensed me, then there's no way he could be this relaxed.
I saw him got up and ready to leave. I tired of followed him around so I jumped off of the tree and landed in front of him, make myself presence. Just when I'm about to landed, the kid dodged me knowing that I'm gonna' crash him. Welp, it's not intentional though.
I looked at the kid, observing him from hair to toe. Don't misunderstand, I'm not a pervert. He has straight black hair with white stripe on one of his bangs which is unique, pale white skin and pale blue eyes. I saw him wore an oversized black round neck t-shirt and a short black pants. I also realised that he's barefoot.
Without wasting any time, I asked him questions.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" I said in a serious tone.
After a few seconds, I didn't got any answer from the kid which made me a little bit annoyed. I saw the kid backed away slowly as I thought he wanted to run away, so I released some of my aura causing the air around us became heavier.
"I'll ask again. Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked the kid again, hope for him to answer.
"My name is A-"
"A what?" I asked him confused 'cause he suddenly stopped talking.
I wanted to ask the same questions again but this time maybe released some more of my aura to tell him that I'm serious and try to scare him a little bit if I can. But when I'm about to do that, the kid suddenly talked.
"Yoshi! My name is Yoshi. I don't have any family name and I myself don't know what I'm doing here." said the kid.
After hearing his answer, I became more curios about him and at the same time suspicion. Why? Because the way he answered my questions. It is weird that he paused for a while before continuing answer them. I felt like he's hiding something. So, I decided to take him back to Konoha with me. Maybe I can ask Ibiki to handle this.
