章 11: Chapter 11 THE BROKEN GLASS

Mrs Amy was as usual, busy in the kitchen making dinner when Kelvin rushed down into the kitchen, cheerful. Mrs Amy glanced at his face and smiled, turning back to her chores.

"Oh, you're here. Sit over the table, I'll bring your milk".

He nodded, glancing around with quite a disappointed look and sat in one of the chairs by the table.

"Laura is not yet in?", he mumbled, playfully brushing his hand on the table.

Amy chuckled and settled opposite him with a smile, gently placing the milk on the table.

"Awwn, now I know why you're wearing that look. Come on, (cubs his cheeks)don't be so disappointed. She'll just be a little late today, huh?".

Kelvin nodded, gloomy. Amy tickled him and he laughed, mumbling, "Mum....Stop, it's tickling "

"Good, you finally laughed. You look more handsome in that smile", mumbled Amy with a chuckle.

"But I miss her already "
