Once his magic is launched, and his strength multiplied, Baranor rushes at full speed towards the riders blocking the retreat of the troops.
Quickly with his prodigious strength in a few steps he finds himself propelled forward in a phenomenal speed.
In just a few seconds he crossed the battlefield like a bolt of lightning, his speed creating a sonic boom behind him, under each of his steps the ground broke and the earth shook under such pressure.
Arriving at the level of the enemies horsemens blocking the passage, he drew his sword and struck in the direction of one of them.
Thanks to his lightning speed and his extreme strength, reinforced by his elaborate technique, the soldier in question is decapitated before seeing Baranor.
Baranor's blow is so powerful that it creates a wind blade that shreds and decapitates a dozen enemies behind the targeted soldier.
Seeing the disconcerting ease with which he was able to kill his opponents, Baranor does not let himself be overwhelmed by his power and remains calm.
Leaning on the ground, he leaps and zigzags between the riders while killing them with a sharp blow to the back of the neck, ending the fight before it has even begun.
Each blow is fast and precise, they have a surgical precision and the enemies fall like flies in front of so much strength.
It took a few seconds for the riders farthest from Baranor to see him and to see the death of their comrades.
At first surprised, then angry and then frightened, the feelings are divided among the riders of the rear guard, but one thing is sure, fear can be read on their faces, some consider fleeing, while others, more courageous or crazy, want to try to stop this monster among men.
Quickly, some of the riders try to counterattack, overwhelmed by their courage and their faith towards their lords, any notion of fear or running away is put aside, only the idea of fighting remains present in these men.
Although they serve fundamentally bad ideals, we can acknowledge their bravery, seeing Baranor eliminate their allies one by one, they nevertheless choose to charge towards him.
Baranor, using his abilities to the fullest, sees some of the horsemen leave their positions to charge in his direction.
Baranor can only admire the courage of these riders, but they have chosen the wrong opponent.
Smiling, he hits the ground with his feet at great speed, making him go faster than ever.
In only one tenth of a second he arrives in front of the group of riders, without waiting he raises his sword and deploys all of his strength in this attack before lowering his blade generating a powerful shock wave.
The shockwave crosses the enemy battalion at high speed and blows the soldiers and the horse completely apart, shredding and destroying everything in its path.
In a single attack, about sixty men were killed.
Seeing this spectacle, some of the horsemen took fright and fled directly in the direction of the main army, leaving the way clear for the Olog-Hai who sank into the space left free while smashing horsemen in order to retreat towards the wall.
Baranor having succeeded in opening the way feels that his reserves are almost exhausted, but he wishes to ensure the retreat and returns to the main front.
Although the Olog-Hai retreated, the situation on the main front was tense, as the enemy advanced faster and in greater numbers and their offensives were hard to contain.
Even if the Olog-Hai are extremely resistant and have a supernatural strength, they are getting tired and out of breath, the enemy's blows are raining down and hurting the Olog-Hai on all sides, slowing them down even more.
Baranor once arrived eases the retreat because of the constant pressure he puts on the attackers, even the fearsome death singers are not able to withstand a single blow.
Thanks to his prodigious speed and unrivaled strength, the battlefield was turned upside down and the offensive was stopped, giving the Olog-Hai and Wulf time to retreat towards the wall.
And it is after a few more minutes of effort that the Olog-Hai finally reach the wall.
Wounded, exhausted, some have lost an eye, others an arm or a leg, they are all in bad shape and are repatriated on the other side of the wall by Fram thanks to his telekinesis.
In order to cover their retreats, the archers increase their efforts and shoot multiple arrows in the direction of the enemies, slowing down their progression.
As for Baranor, exhausted and at the limit of his energy, he also retreats, but as his power dissipates and all strength leaves him, the enemy general stands in front of him while his men encircle Baranor, cutting off his path.
Completely alone, he has no choice but to get out of this impasse by himself.
Out of breath, he brandishes his sword and stands on guard against his opponent, his eyes on the exterior are confident and bright, not wanting to show his weakness, ready for a fierce fight.
Seeing Baranor surrounded, the enemy general says to him " You, dirty scum, you have killed hundreds of my men, I will make you pay for that ".
Then he rushes towards Baranor, brandishes his sword and strikes him in the direction of the head.
The blow is parried, every muscle of Baranor struggles to move and an excruciating pain seizes him with every movement, but pushing his limits he parries a second and a third blow.
On the defensive, he struggles to parry the violent strikes of his opponent, but perseveres all the same.
His opponent, with a haughty look and a smile on his face, boasts "Well, could it be that I am better than you? If you, as weak as you are, could kill hundreds of my people, then I can kill thousands of yours!"
Hearing that his soldiers laught, they are happy to see Baranor struggle this hard in front of their general.
Baranor, not responding to the provocations continues to defend as best he can the repeated charges of his opponent.
Thanks to his superior technique, he manages to stay relatively safe, but small wounds here and there make their appearance on his aching body.
Then, as he starts another blow, an arrow hits him in the left leg.
Immediately under the pain he puts a knee on the ground and repels another assault without moving, with even more pain.
His situation is very bad, and if it continues in this way, in spite of his prowess and his determination, he is likely to collapse.
But while all hope seemed lost ...
The miracle did not happen, and a large sword strike cut his armor from top to bottom leaving a visible mark on his chest, the wound wide enough, weakened enormously Baranor who can not help but scream in rage and pain.
*GARHHHHH*
In a last burst, whereas his enemy has a smirk and lowers his guard, he plants his sword in the abdomen of this one which then screams of pain.
"ARGHHH, bastard!" he shouts before backing away holding his wound.
Baranor, out of breath, wounded, can only rely on luck, without hope, he can only think of his mistakes.
'I shouldn't have pushed this much my body.'
Or again
' Why? Why did I fought against their whole army when we were so close to retreat, I could play it safe, I indulged too much in my power'
Are thoughts that take him and repeat in loops in his mind.
But while he seems defeated, in agony, about to take his last breath, Baranor comes to his senses, and against the pain, against the fatigue and against his destiny, he gets up while thinking.
'Talion, I don't have much time left, and even if, by my stupid choices, I have disappointed you, I won't leave without taking as many men as possible with me'.
Then, in a burst, dragging his bruised body, he advances and runs in the direction of the enemy general.
The latter, in agony and holding his wound, observes Baranor with his eyes wide open, fearing for his life, he shouts while retreating "Kill him! shoot him! Don't let him get any closer!"
His men, who until then had been enjoying the show in honor of their dead comrades, pulled the strings of their bows and fired in Baranor's direction.
And as the first arrows, flying in the wind at full speed, are ready to hit Baranor, a miracle happens.
Huge walls of water rise up and catch all the arrows, then like a hurricane, they turn into a huge wave and carry away some of the enemy soldiers in their path.
Grabbing Baranor, Idril looks at the enemy general and swears to make him pay before disappearing with Baranor in the direction of Nurn in order to heal him as soon as possible.
All this under the gaze of Fram, powerless, Baranor being too far away for his power to affect him.

[Flashback]
While Olog-Hai's troops retreat thanks to Fram's magic and Baranor is still fighting, the latter goes to meet Wulf.
Surprised, he notices Wulf's wounds and says to him " Wulf, are you all right? You should be healed immediately, we should have some plants with healing properties on hand ".
"Wuhoho, I've seen worse, I just need to recover a little, what worries me is the situation of my men, we were a hundred and we are only thirty, even if we destroyed a good part of their armies, I don't like to see my men suffer" he said in a sad tone.
"I don't like to see my men suffer either, but their sacrifice will not be in vain, thanks to them, there are only 5000 men left in the enemy army, our attack has killed half of their soldiers, and we have a chance to stop them here once and for all" answers Fram, confident in himself and in his men
"Wuhoho, it's true that we made them suffer" says Wulf, happy to have killed so many enemies
"Where is Baranor? I don't see him" asks Fram, worried about his friend's situation
"Baranor? He was not with us when we withdrew".
"That means he is still on the battlefield! We have to hurry, I fear the worst" Fram said, worried as he ran towards the wall.
As he reaches the wall, Idril appears near him by teleporting.
Seeing Fram, she asks him
"Fram, how is the defense going? I came to help you, a pair of hands will not be too much " she says while flexing her biceps
"Idril, I am very worried, Baranor is still on the battlefield and I don't know his condition" said Fram still worried about his friend
Hearing Fram, Idril teleports without answering towards the battlefield.
