"Hey. Are you okay?" Xander asked Katherine as soon as she took a step inside their living room. He stood up and walked to her, and without warning, he hugged her tightly. 

He had arrived earlier than her and had been waiting for her to come back, the events that took place must have upset her. Not only did Xander notice the presence of Luke Beeman, but he had also noticed the presence of Katherine's two previous best friends, he had dug more than enough information about her so he was very well aware of her past.

"I will be fine, let's just stay like this for a few more minutes please." Katherine pleaded. Her slender arms went around and hugged Xander back, she buried her face in his chest, finding solace in his embrace.
