章 237: Chapter 237: Brother Alone Against the World

Qin Jie carried a dish out of the kitchen, only to notice Chen Enci standing near the entrance of the dining room. "Finished with your bath?"

Lost in his memories, Chen Enci took a few seconds to respond.

Qin Jie noticed something off about Chen Enci and asked, "What's wrong?"

Enci looked at Qin Jie in a daze for a moment before snapping back to reality. "Nothing, I'm just a bit hungry."

Qin Jie replied, "Dinner will be ready soon."

A couple of days ago, Qin Nan had made dumplings and had someone deliver them to Qin Jie's house. More than half of them remained uneaten.

After taking out every dish from the wok, Qin Jie cooked twenty dumplings as the main course. He then served them with soup.

"Didn't you say you were hungry? Start eating." Qin Jie handed a pair of chopsticks to Chen Enci.

Chen Enci thanked him, took the chopsticks, and picked up a shrimp.

Once he had peeled it and put it in his mouth, he looked up at Qin Jie. "The taste hasn't changed at all."
