Five minutes later, Chen Enci was back in the private dining room.

She was unaware of what Qin Nan and Lu Xing were discussing. They were engaged in a pleasant conversation and hadn't noticed her enter.

Sitting across from them was Qin Jie, head slightly lowered, absorbed in his phone, seemingly oblivious to the animated conversation taking place in front of him.

Before Chen Enci could pull out the only free chair beside Qin Jie, who was fixated on his phone, an elongated leg stretched out, hooked onto a chair leg, and pulled the chair out from under the table.

Chen Enci couldn't help but look at Qin Jie. Seeing his eyes still glued to the phone, she lapsed into silence and sat down opposite Lu Xing, in a very ladylike manner.

Upon hearing the disturbance, Qin Nan looked up and smiled at Chen Enci: "Miss Chen, Lu Xing mentioned you didn't eat much downstairs. We specially asked the Chef to prepare some hot dishes, be sure to eat while it's still warm."
