章 10: Exploration (1)

In the outer space outside the atmosphere of Deagea, a float of a few spaceships were staring at the barrier that covers the planet.

The float was small, just a few ships that couldn't be considered barely a threat for a planet. But the purpose of this spaceships was to analyze the planet in question setting a base in its surface, and to explore the planet to know if it's some civilization living in there and how to treat them.

This was a standard procedure done by the High Civilizations to decide how to treat with a unknown one. And according to the results, Vanaheim will decide how to treat them.

Fortunately for Deagea, Vanaheim is not a warrior civilization and is very peaceful compared with others of their type.

In the worst case, Vanaheim will ignore Deagea as a human ignores a colony of ants, they maybe will study the living beings in there, or they will simply ignore them as one more rock floating in the vastness of the universe.

Because talking honestly, Vanaheim have more important deals actually than bullying inferior civilizations.

But is okay, for now, just the barrier is enough interesting to capture the attention of the inhabitants of Vanaheim, and that is something really exciting for the people in Vanaheim.

The first contact with a planet of a whole different universe, this is the sort of thing that can capture the attention of the Vanirs that have seen all sort of things through their history.

And this is the kind of exciting that covers the world that is caused by an event that anyone wants to lost. And there is where our friend enters.

" This is great! NO, this is bad! This is the worst that ever has happened in my life! Or maybe is the best thing what happened in my life? Ahh! I don't know!" She though in her mind with a face that could only be compared with a dog in the veterinarian.

This was Sasha Lawyer, the journalist of the last time. And recently her life has turned upside down after she was contacted by the royal family to be one of the members of the expedition group and document the explore of the bubble planet, as the Vanirs called it.

Apparently she was so funny that the public loved her and because her recent popularity, she was rewarded (?) with the chance of being one of the few journalists invited to document and transmit the exploration to Vanaheim as a kind of live streamer.

This is a honorable job that will give her a lot of respect from the people, plus that she will receive a lot of attention depending on the how much does her "program" go. Not to say about the generous amount of money that she is receiving of the job.

But even so, is pretty dangerous to go to a unknown planet to explore, is equal or even more dangerous than being a war journalist, but more as an adventure journalist or a explorer journalist because you don't know what exactly you will found in those places but that is the kind of shit that the audience love.

Yes, she may have some bodyguards and robots plus a lot of more high technology devices to help her in her travel plus the scientists and researchers that will accompany her to explore ( that are a different group than the ones who will be in the laboratory).

But even so…

Suddenly, the voice of the pilot resonated through the ship.

" Attention to all the passengers, please fasten your seat belts, because we wouldn't encountered a manner to make a hole in the barrier and our tryings of teleportation failed, we decided to go with the "energy canceling" barrier and crash against the barrier to trespass it, but not worry, is completely safe, probably ".

"Eh!? What does he means with "Probably" !? " She thought, but before she even could ask, the space ship started to move.

A big sphere surrounded the ship as a protective film lined the ship. But that couldn't tranquillize Sasha because that was the kind of film that just appears when a ship is in battle or is crossing a battle camp.

And if the ships need to prepare as if it be in battle is not a good new…

" Bam!" A shock wave was produced as the two barriers entered in contact, and the impact was felt in the whole ship, shaking its passengers in their seats.

But then, the world barrier started to open, like melting in the area around the ship as a hot knife cutting butter. As expected of the barrier that was called " impenetrable " once ago.

Unfortunately, after the ship crossed the barrier with some difficulties, the ship started to descend through the atmosphere at very high speeds, but this time, the canceling barrier wasn't there to protect them.

The reason? Because the ship is not a battle ship and the version of the barrier that it has is a inferior one, plus that the barrier spends too much energy for being maintained by the ship.

So there was, a spaceship falling as a burning meteorite falling into the atmosphere with just a barely protected by a the film around the ship.

But before even having the opportunity to crash, the control returned to the pilot and in a Mastery show of pure skill, he recovered the balance of the ship and did a sudden braking in the middle of the air.

And once more time, the passengers, including Sasha, were shaken as rag dolls in a washing machine.

And once more time, the voice of the pilot was heard on the ship.

" We already passed through the turbulence, you can unlock you seatbelts and we invite you to see the exterior through your windows during the descent, thanks for traveling with us" He said with a funny voice, clearly knowing what he did.

Sasha was cursing in his mind when she heard the pilot talking with them after that, but even so she turned towards the window to see the exterior.

" Oh wow " she whispered in amazing.

Outside the Window, a light blue sky expanded through the infinity, pure white clouds adorning it as if they were shining with the falling sunlight that heated the world with his hug. Below the sky, a green dark forest that expanded until the eye can see limited with gigantic mountains that pierced the sky as celestial pillars that united the Heaven and Earth with its great power.

It was an amazing view, and more for a person as Sasha who never has left her origin planet.

And with that view, she remembered her purpose, and decided to record everyone of this amazing views for the people in Vanaheim and let them watch at least a part of the majesty that she felt with this view.
