Lukas sighed once again. "But me and your son, Leonhard, are plotting against you," he said.

Franz's eyes immediately widened as he showed an expression of disbelief, he truly wasn't expecting it.

Meanwhile, Lukas only wanted to laugh at Franz's reaction.

Franz was completely speechless. 'What the hell... is going on here?' he wondered.

An absolutely tense silence perpetuated in the throne hall. Franz only stared at Lukas in disbelief whereas the blonde boy just stood there, waiting anxiously for the king's answer.

Lukas sighed internally. 'This might turn out to be such a bad choice, but... the King sure will try something to make me work for him. His greed is going to be his downfall. I'm sure of that,' he thought.

After a while, Franz finally sighed, getting back to his calm posture. "Lukas, you are aware of how insultuous what you have just said is, are you not?" he asked.
