Life has been nothing but an endless string of unfortunate events. Some my fault others the doing of life. I want nothing more than to have a normal life, but every time I get closer to it fades away like a mirage in a desert. But even so, like a man dying of thirst in a desert, I too look for my oasis I seek salvation for me and my mother. I found it, I took it but it did come at a price.
I was in a car with my mom, we were moving to a town called Beacon Hills. A small quiet town in California. We were moving from Kansas, my mother has gotten a job at a bank there. It was a fresh start for both of us. We were happy, excited and a little nervous about our new life.
We reached our new home in Beacon Hills, we had gotten a house in the suburbs. Mom was happy to see the new house. She looked at me and asked, "Do you like it?"
I smiled and said, "I like it, it feels homely…"
She smiled and said, "Come let's go check it out."
We got out of the car and Mom walked to the house. She had a spring in her step as she was walking toward the house. I saw that the house next to ours had a moving truck I asked mom "What's the word on our truck?"
She tilted her head a little and said "They said they will be here by evening. I'll give them a call to check up on it."
I walked to the door and she got the keys from her purse she smiled and looked at me and asked, "Are you ready?"
I nodded and said, "Yeah, Let's see our new home."
She opened the door and we walked in and it was a good house. Smaller than the previous one but I had a nice feeling about it. She chuckled and said, "Oh, I love this. Isn't it lovely… I am already seeing a couch there, Tv here and a Jacuzzi in the backyard."
I smiled and said, "It is lovely mom." It looks like she likes the house. I said, "I am going to get the boxes out of the car."
I went outside and got the boxes. There were 7 boxes with us in the car. Clothes and stuff, the essentials just in case. I put the boxes inside and I said "That's the last one."
Mom was in the backyard looking at the tree in there. I walked up to her and said "You can have a garden here as you wanted."
Mom smiled and said, "Yeah, I think it will be relaxing… but I will need your help with stuff."
I looked at her and said, "Anything but carrying manure. I am not going to do that."
She chuckled and said "Fine."
She turned towards me and asked, "Which room do you want?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "Anyone is fine really…"
She shrugged her shoulders and said, "Then choose one…"
I thought about it and I said "You said that there is a room in the left-wing like in the corner right?"
She looked at me and said "Why take that one? You won't get a good view because of this tree?"
I smiled and said, "That is exactly why I am picking it."
She sighed and said, "Fine… you can take that room. Put my boxes in the other room next to it. I'll go and meet the neighbors."
I looked at her and said, "Who's going to be home this time?"
She walked towards me and she said "It's manners, Lucius. We don't want anyone to think we are rude now do we?"
I shook my head and she smiled and said "Now be a good boy and get the rooms ready." I nodded and she touched my face and she was walking away and she said: "Do not open my boxes or you will be grounded till you graduate!"
I sighed and said "Fine mom." I mumbled, "Like I was going to do that in the first place."
She said, "I heard that." She walked out the door and I took some of my boxes and went upstairs.
I took the last room closer to the left wing of the house. I opened it and I entered the room. It was a good size room, definitely manageable for someone my size, fortunately, there was already a bed there. I put the box down and I went to get the other boxes. I dropped off my moms' boxes in her room.
I entered my room and started to unpack. I was done after half an hour most of my stuff was in the moving van so until that comes here this is it. I opened my bag and got the packet of cigarettes and the lighter and mints. I put them in my pocket and I opened the window and climbed out and I sat on the roof and I opened the packet and I lit the cigarette and took a puff.
I was looking at the suburbs and I saw how quiet and peaceful it was maybe we can start with a clean slate here. I chuckled and I said "Let's see what you have to offer Beacon Hills… I hope you don't disappoint."

It was 9 pm someone knocked on the door. We are in the living room. My mom was on the phone with the moving company they didn't arrive in the evening. My mom said, "Lucius can you get that?"
I went to get the door and I opened the door and it was the delivery boy with the pizza. I got the pizza and paid for it. I closed the door and walked inside the kitchen. My mom was pissed. She grabbed her head and said "I can't believe these guys! They said they will be here the next day."
We sat at the table and I said "Don't be angry… it doesn't help us. Fortunately, we have our essentials."
She sighed and said "Yeah." She looked at me and said, "I just wanted everything to be perfect."
I took a slice and I chuckled and said: "Nothing can ever be perfect we just need to focus on the positive and move forward."
She shook her head and she said "You are right…" she looked at me and smiled "Now pass me a slice before you eat it all."
I looked at her and I said "Oh, you wanted to eat as well. I thought all of this was for me."
She laughed and I passed her the box. Eating like this is somehow nice.

After the dinner was done, we went to our rooms to sleep. It was midnight to 1 when we decided to hit the bed. It was rather late seeing how tomorrow is a school day. I was in my room and I went out of the room to smoke. I was laying on the roof and I was smoking.
I was looking at the moon hiding behind the clouds. I have always found it to be very alluring my mom says I have a weird obsession with it. It may be true but still how can you not like it. My cigarette was done and I was about to head in but then I saw a red minivan come in. It stopped at the house next to us.
They must be the neighbors we were expecting. I was watching them. It was a small family of three. The father had a slim build he had brown short hair with blue eyes, he was wearing a blue shirt and a brown windbreaker and he looked tired I don't mean physically it looked like he was mentally exhausted must be the drive I guess.
The mother had a tall build, short red hair and very blue eyes, she had a pearl necklace and got a sense that she is the kind of a person who is strict and very set in their ways like vice-principal vibes. She is going to complain about the leaves that fall on their side I guess.
They had a daughter who looked similar to my age, she was wearing a t-shirt, jeans and a leather jacket and boots. She was tall and had a slim build, she had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She seemed a little happy to be here unlike her father who seemed a little worried.
As I was watching them the girl for some reason looked up, she saw me and was a little confused but decided to wave at me. Her dad asked her something and she pointed at me and he and his wife they all looked at me and they had a very awkward and confused smile. Not the girl though seemed to be amused.
I was feeling very awkward at this moment and decided to just wave at them and then head inside. So I did the same I waved at them and gave a very awkward smile and I went inside.
I lay on my bed and I said "I don't think they have the best of an impression on me." But it was weird for them to look up like that. I decided to brush that away and I went to sleep. I do have school tomorrow.

As I was sleeping I was taken into the lands of dreams. But it wasn't such a normal dream if I am honest. I didn't feel like myself. I felt like I was in a different body but I didn't feel uncomfortable or strange in it. It oddly felt right.
I saw myself in the woods at night. I was running I felt like I needed to be somewhere but where was it that I was running towards. After running for a while I came across a pack of wolves and they weren't normal wolves. They were gigantic compared to the ones I have seen. They were gazing at the moon.
They looked at me and I didn't feel scared, it was like I had known them forever, they stopped looking at me and continued to see the moon. I walked towards them and they made a place for me. I sat next to them and I looked at them and I felt pretty dwarf compared to them.
The wolf next to me said, "Wake up!!!"
I was confused but then I fell and I opened my eyes and I saw that I was in my room and lying on the floor with my face. I heard my mom "Get up Lucius! You are late!"
I got up and rubbed my eyes and I yawned and my mother said "Get ready we are late!"
I nodded and my mom threw me my clothes and went downstairs., I wore a grey t-shirt, jeans and a jacket. I had already got my bag packed last night. I got the mint out of my bag and ate it.
I went downstairs and my mom was already in the car. I got in and she handed me toast and I was eating and she looked a little worried and she was driving like we were in mad max. I said, "Calm down, I can be late on the first day."
She looked at me and I said, "Look, straight mom!"
She looked ahead and said, "You told me you would wake me up!"
I was eating toast and I said: "I usually do but last night I slept a little late my bed was weird."
She grunted and she drove faster, we reached school and she looked at me and said "I will not be able to come and pick you up today."
I looked at her and I said "So you want me to get lost?"
She sighed and reached for her purse and took out a piece of paper and 20 dollars she said "This is a map and this is in case you get lost."
I nodded and she kissed me on my cheeks and said "Love you now get out."
I chuckled and said, "Love you too mom." I got out of the car and she drove off like she was in a race but with a minivan. I turned around and I saw the girl from yesterday sitting. She saw me and waved, I waved back and she got up and walked towards me.
She smiled and said "Hi, I am Allison your neighbor. We met last night."
I nodded and said, "I am Finn Belmont and I do remember meeting you and your family from the roof… last night."
She looked at me and said, "What were you doing on the roof?"
I took a deep breath and said "For fresh air… mostly."
She looked confused and she asked, "Couldn't you have just walked in the backyard or something?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "But then I wouldn't have gotten that stunning view now would I?"
She looked at me and smiled and I was a little confused then a guy in a suit walked up and he said "You guys the new transfers?"
We both said "Yeah."
He smiled and said "Excellent." We were walking inside and he said "Looks like you two were getting to know each other?"
I nodded and said, "We are neighbors."
He smiled and said "That is nice… I do hope that you two get along."
We reached our class and we entered and the principal said to the class "Class, these are our new students, Allison Argent and Finn Belmont." I looked and there was this one guy he had this particular look on his face and he smelled.
The principal said, "Please do your best to make them feel welcome." He looked at us and nodded and we both took seats there was a seat behind the weird-smelling guy and the one next to the empty one.
She took the seat first and I was made to sit behind the smelly dude, this is off to a fantastic start. She tapped on my desk and asked "You have a pen?"
I nodded and took a pen out of the bag and was going to give her but the smelly guy gave the pen to her. She accepted it and he looked at her and gave a goofy smile. Allison smiled and continued her work. I shrugged my shoulders and thought I save my pen on the first day sweet.
Some classes ended and it was lunchtime, we were sitting together and Allison asked: "So where are you from?"
I took a bite of the sandwich it was mediocre and I said, "I am from Kansas. What about you? You seem fancy?"
She looked at me and said, "Says the guy wearing a thousand dollar jacket."
I looked at her and said, "This is a thousand dollars?"
She looked surprised and said, "You didn't see the price tag before buying it?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "No, my mom does my shopping when we go out."
She laughed and I said "What?"
She smiled and said, "It's kinda hard to wrap your head around when a guy your age and size goes shopping with his mom."
I smiled and said, "That's because you haven't met my mom, she is quite fun to hang around."
She smiled and said, "Well, we are neighbors so it is bound to happen sooner or later."
I pushed the tray aside and I said "So tell me where you from?"
She nodded and said "San Fransisco."
I said, "That's a big city. Why did you guys move here?"
She said, "My dad got a contract here to sell firearms to law enforcement and private security companies."
I said, "That's cool…"
She asked, "Why did you move here from Kansas?"
I smacked my lips and said, "We both needed a change and this place has a branch of my mom's bank so she took a transfer here."
She nodded and asked, "I couldn't help but notice you didn't mention your dad." She looked at me and she said "And now I feel I shouldn't have asked."
I shook my head and said, "He is no longer with us."
She looked at me and said, "I am sorry."
I nodded and said, "It's okay." I looked at her and said, "I hope you don't take this as a response to the question you asked, but I would like to go now."
She nodded and smiled and I got up and I smiled and said "I'll see you in class."
I put my tray in the trash and I walked outside and I found a spot in the back of the school where buses were parked and I got a cigarette from my pocket and I lit it and I was smoking it. I took a deep drag and I said "It looks like I still miss you after all."
I heard footsteps coming from the back and I threw my cigarette and looked around and there was no one. I sighed and lit another one and went back to smoking. After a while someone came out of the door and I snuffed it out but it was too late he saw me, he had spiky black hair.
He looked at me and I tried to go in but he stopped me and said, "Not too fast Hulk."
I stopped and he picked up the cigarette from the ground and he said "What's this?"
I looked at him and said "I am sorry… I won't do it again."
He walked toward me and he said "We both know that's a lie." He looked at me and said, "You know you can get in a lot of trouble for this with your parents."
I looked at him and I said "Please don't."
He nodded and said "Alright, let me tell you something… I can look over this. Have you played anything before?"
I knew where this was going and I said "You want me to play on your team."
He smiled and said "Looks like you do have a head on your shoulder. There is a tryout today, come and play and I will stay quiet about this."
I sighed and nodded and he smiled and said "Good… now get out of here."
I walked into the building but then I heard a click of a lighter. I shook my head and said, "What the fuck is going on."

When the classes ended Allison and I were walking out together and she asked "So you are going for the tryouts?"
I sighed and said "Yeah."
We reached our lockers and She looked at me and said, "You don't look all too happy about it."
I looked at her and said, "No, no I am…"
Then a girl walked up to us she had red hair and a small build. She said to Allison "That jacket is absolutely killer. Where did you get it?" Even though she was talking to her she kept looking at me for some reason.
Then a guy walked up to her and kissed her on her cheeks and he looked at me and Lydia said: "Jackson this is Allison and this is Finn." I was a little surprised to know she knows my name, but it's not that surprising.
He offered his hand I shook it and smiled and then they started to talk but I heard "Can anyone tell me how the new guys have been here all of 5 minutes and they are already hanging out with Lydia's clique?" I followed the direction where it was coming from and it was coming from across the hall from a girl.
I saw that the smelly guy was looking here but quickly looked at his locker and the girl said "Hey is it I or that guy is looking here?"
The guy with a buzz cut said "Yeah he is but why?"
The girl looked at the buzz cut guy and said "Do I look okay?"
The buzz cut guy said, "How do you know he is not looking at me?"
The girl placed her hands on her hips and said "Really Stiles, even Danny won't be upon you. Have you looked at yourself?"
Stiles said, "Have you looked at yourself." They were fighting I then felt a nudge on my elbow and I looked it was Allison and she looked at Jackson and I looked at her and he said: "I asked if you are trying out for the team?"
I nodded and said "Yeah."
He muttered "Bonehead."
I looked at him and asked What did you say he backed off a little and said "I didn't say anything."
Allison said, "Let's go to practice now."
Lydia nodded and said "Yeah."

I still have to add some more details this is a rough draft and you guys can suggest some changes but I am going with the evolved wolf kind of werewolf but the wolves are going to be huge and fast like tvd werewolf. You guys can suggest love interests as well. Can someone tell me some words to define big and stupid as well. Thank you and tomorrow is my exam so wish me luck
