章 74: Setting things up~1!
After retrieving the fainted Kyojuro, Subaru left the dungeon in a swift. Of course, he didn't forget to paint Igrit's armor in black, on the way. It wasnt long since he entered here but still leaving the dungeon felt a slight burden lifting from his shoulders.
After crossing the huge entrance of the dungeons, what came into his view were hunters, in massive amounts. Hundreds of hunters had made three protective layers surrounding the gate and another set of hunters gawking at the scene with their guards up and ready to attack any moment.
Subaru also saw the four 'S' rankers along with the surveillance chief Woo-Jinchul. Upon noticing a figure emerging from the gate they instantly pulled their guards and unleashed their weapons.
But fortunately, when they confirmed that the incoming person was an ally, a heavy sigh left their mouths at the same time. As the three guild leaders, Choi Jong-In, Baek-Yoonho, and Ma Dongwook gestured for the rest of the hunters they also became a little relaxed albeit still on watch.
No one knew what could come back from the gate or whether the one who have walked inside would return back or not, that's why this preparation was done in the meantime. Of course, having a glimpse of Subaru's true strength they knew he would come back but what made them frightened was that what if he gets defeated.
Korea was sure that none of the hunters could fight something which could defeat such a powerful anomaly named Subaru, but it doesn't mean they won't prepare measures and let their motherland burn into cinders.
But every worry went in vain as the young youth landed on the ground safely without a single scratch on him. Hae-In was the one who moved forward toward Subaru followed by the three guild masters and the surveillance chief.
"Are you okay Hunter-nim". Hae-In's sudden worried query made Subaru a little startled, however soon he realized composure before responding.
" Yes, I am totally fine. And please call me Subaru, Hunter Cha." Baffled by the sudden request, Hunter Cha didn't know how to respond as she stood there silent before someone else took the reign.
"You were gone for some time so we all got worried. Anyway, it's fortunate that you returned safe and sound." Hunter Choi understood the state of his vice guild master so he didn't let her get embarrassed.
Subaru nodded before he glanced at his surroundings and spotted some of the characters he was familiar with regarding his last life memories. But no one interests him much, as he wasnt able to find the one he was curious about.
"Um...Chief Jinchul." Upon hearing his name, the orange-haired young man came forward and asked politely.
"Yes, hunter? Something I can help with?"
"Can you do two favors for me?" Everyone around Subaru got a little startled upon hearing such an entity requesting the surveillance chief and the person in question wasnt any different as he took a long second before he registered Subaru's word.
"Yes...of course. If it's in my power then I would be honored to help you." Subaru focused back at the person as he finished surveying the parameter.
"First, can you find me a hunter named Sung Jin-Woo?" Despite not having heard of the name, Woo-Jinchul didn't reject the request but a caution erupted in his mind.
"Yes I can do that, but can Hunter-nim state the matter with the person you asked me to find." It's true that Subaru just prevented a catastrophe from erupting in the heart of Korea but it doesn't mean Woo-Jinchul just sell off one of his own country's people without knowing Subaru's intentions.
"Ah...you can say I just owe him." Now everyone was shocked upon hearing such a revelation but nevertheless, the surveillance chief nodded in agreement.
"Second, I want to meet the chairman if possible. Just half an hour would be fine." Subaru had some things to finalize with the Korean supreme before he could take some of the decisions regarding the future.
"Yes, of course. He would also like to meet you in person, I am sure of that." Subaru just nodded slightly before grabbing the unconscious Kyojuro over his shoulder.
"Okay, then. I will meet you soon guys." Before Hunter Cha could have at least said her thanks for saving her, Subaru disappeared from everyone's sight.
A chuckle left the glass-wearing hunter as everyone glanced at him instinctively.
"I wasnt able to detect his mana even though he used a spell right at my face." No one spoke but everyone knew how frustrated this red-headed mage was after facing something so overwhelming for the first time.

After teleporting from Korean lands, Subaru appeared in the backyard of a traditional Japanese Minka. This house belonged to the Rengoku family. After dropping Kyojuro he didn't wait for long and before returning he snatched the locket which Kyojuro had tied around his neck.
"I hope we never meet again.." After muttering he vanished from the sight.
The next place he went to was an empty apartment flat, far away from where he lives with Sasha. This apartment was bigger than his home as it was built on a whole floor with an approx area of 3600 sq ft, containing 4 bedrooms and a separate recreational corner.
He bought the palace with plans of living with Ririka, Sasha, and Fubuki altogether. Knowing their personality he knew if he won't be home they would probably prefer personal space. That's why he found this huge place.
But right now, things have changed. He sighed before taking a living entity out of his [Dimensional Pocket].
Reaching up to the ground and even bundling over it were the sakura hairs of the dungeon boss whome Subaru kidnapped which the prior one let him do whatever he desired.
As Mira informed, she wouldn't be able to wield mana out of the gate as the situation was, so he had to carry her in his created dimension.
"Darling~" Upon getting separated for so long, she had become a little emotionally unstable as the short separation seemed an eternity for her. She abruptly jumped on Subaru and wrapped her legs around his torso without having any intention to let him go.
Subaru saw her distressed mood from which he couldn't help but feel unease. He brought his palm on her butt and like a baby carried her toward the couch which was a place in the corner of the main hall.
He sat down and leaned back while rubbing her back to let her know his presence.
"I was scared." Subaru hummed and continued pampering the little girl who seemed to be like a lost child who just found her parents.
"I missed you".
" I missed you too. More than I could express, more than you can imagine that much I felt your absence around me. Mira, if not for the people with whome I grew up then I might have been searching for you like a fanatic. " Upon hearing, she tightened her grip on his clothes as her long nails dug into him.
"I am sorry to make you worried."
"Hmm... it's okay." They both sat in silence for who knows how long. If not for the rumbling sound coming from Mira's belly, they might have stayed like this for the rest of the night.
She felt so embarrassed as she realized how loud her stomach howled, that she buried her face deep in Subaru's chest not letting him go. Her ears were flushed red which made Subaru chuckle upon witnessing.
"Don't laugh darling!" She complained as tears started filling in her eyes as she glared at Subaru.
"We have spent so much time together but still you are cautious about these things." Even in their last life how much time passed and how closely they got, Mira never showed any side of her which could be counted as embarrassing from her perspective.
"Wait I will order something." He took out his phone when he saw 33 missed calls of which 31 belonged to Sasha, one from Fubuki, and one from the association. Mira took a glance at his phone and instantly asked.
"Fubuki...who is she darling?" Subaru felt fortunate that Fubuki called only once so he easily prepared his excuse.
"She is the principal in the school I went to."
"Oh~ And what's that. It seems your mom in this world is also fond of her son. I hope she gets along with me, unlike your previous mother. Argh! Your previous mom didn't even let me flirt with you openly. I hope this one doesn't become a hindrance between us." Subaru felt the corner of his lips twitching as he heard her not-so-comforting words.
Sighing he ordered a huge amount of food online. Since the apartment was far from the red zone where the dimensional rift was slashed, online delivery was still available.
"Mira...stay here. I will meet my mother and come back okay." The happy face of the horned -girl instantly drowned in sorrow as she heard him.
"Don't make that face. I can't just tell mom all of a sudden about you, can I? So please be a good girl and wait for me. Well, I have to prepare everything necessary but in case you need something for now?" Subaru asked and soon he got a bunch of nods in response.
"I want my dahling." Subaru helplessly hugged her and coaxed her until she finally settled down and began to eat the food which all were of her liking. Since in the dungeon she only ate mana, her first food consumption in this life made her nearly senseless. She was far beyond elated.
*Sigh*
The next place he went was, of course, home. For some reason, he was feeling really tired at the moment even though he was physically fine.
"Ah, Baby!!" As soon his vision got cleared he was enveloped by a foreign object which was undoubtedly his mother. He wrapped his hand around her before she could fall off him as he moved toward the couch carrying the baby koala.
"I was worried. You didn't even pick up your mama's phone. I am super angry at the moment". As she said she bit Subaru's shoulder to show how angry she was.
" There...there. You know nothing can happen to me." He pampered Sasha until she finally calmed down but didn't let him go. If not for the food Subaru had taken before teleporting here, then Sasha might have not let him go until dawn.
*Nom*Nom*
Sasha started munching on the chicken wings that her considerate baby brought for her. On the other side, Subaru was feeling how similar two people could be, yet if he was to bring them face-to-face, he highly doubts whether they would even say 'hi' to each other properly, before lunging forward to end each other's life.
After they ate dinner while talking about the day and stuff Subaru got up from his seat making Sasha confused.
"Baby?"
"Sorry, mom. I have some work to do so I will come back tomorrow. And pack your bags, we are moving." Before she could even grieve properly her baby made some sudden announcement making her tilt her head.
"Where are we going, baby?" Thinking it might be their first honeymoon, Sasha's butterflies started jumping inside her belly, as a non-suppressible smile formed on her face.
"Ah...we are going to your birth land and probably won't come back, so get ready."

A/N: Subaru would be a little restless in some of the chapters before he settles down with his family of course along with his other harem member in Korea.
Ah, did you guys notice I gave a hint about Subaru's past life girlfriend would be zero two, in the very first chapter?
