章 31: Condolences

"Why do you ask?" Hudson said with an icy voice as if his demeanor had changed, and his warm and soft gaze at me was now. It filled him with anger.

"I am sorry to ask you a personal question," I said and saw my expression, Hudson's anger a little relaxed.

"You don't believe me when I say Niall is evil, right?" He said as he kept the books on his table; his gaze held so much emotion, and it was hard to understand what was going on in his head, but it was better to stop asking him.

"You know the things. It's a nightmare, and I don't want to tell it right now." He said, and I could see his hand shiver as if he was returning to his past, and I felt terrible to bring that up. I walked toward him. I can understand that history has still held me in the clutches of being bullied and still terrified me.
