章 93: Chapter 93: Doubt

The duo was then approaching the land of Magnolia soon enough as they see the high sky of the town as the two smiled their faces at the scene seeing the town of magic where the protagonist of the story lived.
They managed to hide their landing on the East Forest a forest near Magnolia Town.
East Forest is a large forest, with a large variety of both plants and animals. The climate appears to be warm, with a good amount of moisture, which can be inferred by the lush vegetation as well as the fairly frequent and dense mist.
There is also a river in the forest where Natsu Dragneel and Happy spend time fishing. There are also numerous glades where Natsu used to train in his younger years. Porlyusica's house is also located in this forest.
Many different animals take residence here. There are both minute creatures like bats, lizards, turtles, and fish as well as more dangerous animals like Forest Vulcan. Plants grow densely and reach extremely large sizes. For example, some trees can grow wide enough to be able to use them as a comfortable home.
*BAM*
With the Pterodactyl landing on the ground then sent away using Tatsumi [Shambhala] they landed on an open area of the East Forest as he talked to Hinata, "There we go. This should be the East Forest near the outskirts of Magnolia town. So how was the talk we had Hinata?"
Jumping to the ground landing she observes the area using her [Byakugan] to oversee the area they are in as she responds happily about their conversation, "Umu. Yes, the talk about our lives has been… enlightening to say the least having a better understanding of you Tatsumi. It was interesting how you talked about your past so happily, it felt weird."
Tatsumi grew a tick mark at that as he calms down before responding about her past and clan use of [Caged Bird Cursed Seal] is similar to slavery taking a small jab, "Sure… but still though you do realize that your family clan is kind of and don't take this wrong way but slave traders in your family right?"
Hinata huffs her face at that as Tatsumi disrespects her family traditions but after the talk with Tatsumi about his world about slaves and the terms that come along with it made she frown at the idea that her family uses slavery.
To her, it was laughing or labeling the Hyuga clan as evil or cruel how Tatsumi described them to actual slave masters…
But she couldn't exactly deny his claims either once she had a proper discussion about it as she had time to think things over how her clan acted towards the members and how possibly Neji was affected by this as she frowns at the idea.
This cursed seal is used by the Hyuga clan to protect their kekkei Genkai, the [Byakugan]. Members of the clan's main house brand members of the clan's branch house with the cursed seal so that, when they die, their [Byakugan] will be sealed away, preventing its secrets from being learned by enemies.
The cursed seal can also be used by the main house to discipline branch house members: if the main house member uses a special hand seal, the branch house member will experience intense pain, discouraging them from disobeying the main house again. If the pain is great enough, it can even kill the branch house member, destroying their brain cells.
Even she knows their family technique as she never once thought it was bad but ever since she compared to Tatsumi liking to be free and their talk about his world and terms… she couldn't help but feel conflicted with herself.
Hinata didn't answer acting like she didn't listen or ignored his words, but the talk taken effect with how conflicted she was as Tatsumi sensed it with his Haki as she thinks to herself in a conflicted tone, 'With the way how Tatsumi praises freedom and complete choice not wanting to be tied down… is that why Neji has always talked about fate being set in stone so much because of the Main Branch Seal treating the Subbranches as slaves to us…'
Tatsumi was observing the area a bit more as Hinata was still shaken of her family traditions as soon as she compared her family tradition to slavery as a shaky realization sook her, 'Have we… no have I always been this ignorant about it and selfishly think of myself during those times? I have always thought it was good for… the clan like… always… have… I always never questioned them about this before? Are my clan members' family slave masters…?'
The more she thought about it the more she began to question her world way of life or more exactly why should they follow their current lifestyle. In the Naruto World, there wasn't exactly a thing called slaves in Hinata world…
Canon never touched on slavery significantly. The original manga and cartoon were targeted toward children. Almost any 'darker' theme is something explored mostly or entirely in fics.
Other than the known, beyond an entire military system built on the exploitation of super-powered child soldiers.
The only real slaves were the bijuu. Or arguably Root, since it's Danzo brainwashed them even more heavily the 'standard' Academy curriculum students making them as slaves as the concept wasn't even a thing in her world…
In those lines of thinking, she began to question her thought process till she remembered one thing that made her question her world laws more once listening to the radical ideas of Tatsumi as he thinks to herself critically, 'Have… have we never once considered our Subbranches as our people and used the excuse of having the [Caged Bird Cursed Seal] to keep them in line. I don't believe the concept of slaves or the term exists in my world but the way…'
As the thought of the idea became more apparent, she shakes her head at this as she sighs out in tiredness of thinking too much of her family problems as she thinks to herself mentally exhausted tone, 'Sigh… I'm thinking too much about this right now. I can't exactly question this from my father or the Main Branches maybe I should ask the Subbranches and Neji about this subject.'
Tatsumi could sense the emotions of conflict coming off from Hinata using his [Observation Haki] he could tell that his words were having a radical effect on her mind.
That was when Hinata was alerted as they continued to walk down from the East Forest as she looked at the tree in surprise alerting Tatsumi, "Tatsumi-kun! That tree right there isn't a real tree, but it's a home hidden in sight of here!"
The two both looked at the home of a tree that is Porlyusica's House as Porlyusica's residence in East Forest. Porlyusica's house is located in the East Forest of Boundary Forest near the outskirts of Magnolia Town.
At first glance, it is easy to confuse with one of the trees growing in the East Forest, as the base for its construction is most likely one of the local trees. It is hollow in the middle, and there is a fairly large room located inside.
Stocks have been pierced in a few areas, creating openings for windows and a massive, ornate door. The land around the house was left unchanged, apart from the creation of paths and a few stairs leading to the main entrance.
Hinata began to describe the inside of the house interior as she explained it in great detail as she spoke carefully at the sight from her [Byakugan].
As mentioned, the interior of the trunk has been hollowed out, creating a fairly large room. It is decorated rather sparsely, without too much furniture. The little furniture there is consists of a bed, a working desk, several stumps, and numerous crates and barrels. There is also a large collection of books placed on shelves which were dug into the trunk of the tree.
Hinata looking at the home she then replied to Tatsumi in clear surprise in her voice as she told him in surprise, "Tatsumi from the looks of things the person living in this home is no longer around. It seems to me that she left the place unguarded what should we do?"
The idea of robbing the place did enter his mind as he was reminded that the home should belong to Porlyusica the white mage of the Fairy Tail guild.
Porlyusica is a Master Medical Specialist as Porlyusica is a specialist when it comes to healing, especially wounds caused by Magic, earning her the epithet of the "Healing Mage". She seems to do so by employing special medicines, which she extracts from herbs. Through her medical knowledge and skills, she was capable of saving Makarov's life in two different instances when he was on the verge of death.
Tatsumi also thought of the healing and medical book supplies she must have researched with her in her home were also too good but… he shook his head as he responds to Hinata as he walks away from the place, "Nah. Best not to rob that place belonging to the Healing Mage. Only one character from here lives here is also someone belonging to the Fairy Tail guild. Best not to mess with them until we get Mavis first plus, I don't think she will be too happy having us mess with a member of her guild."
Hinata thinks for a bit before she nods her head in agreement as they both traversed through the East Forest making sure to take down any magical creatures in their way as well as Tatsumi testing out the extent of his [Hell Flame Dragon Slayer Magic] as they continued downward.
The two continued to proceed forward till they finally reach their destination of finally reaching at the Magnolia town as the two looked at the place with awe in their eyes seeing how lively it was compared to their worlds.
At this, they have finally gotten to the right place as it was time for them to begin their goals of getting their new member free first.

A/N: Here's another chapter and how their talking about their past made Hinata clash about the ideals of her clans making her think critically about her clan's traditional lifestyle. And in doing so made her question her lifestyle and her family choices with Tatsumi's radical words as he compared it to his world.
