章 47: Chapter 47: Captured
~Third POV~
Once every one of the chat members finally got back from their survey of the area Tatsumi began to explain to them everything related to the Shie Hassaikai Arc and the situation with Eri as everyone listen in to his words.
The expression varied between the members as they clearly had their version of shock and disgust but also indifference to the situation. But one thing was certain though it became apparent that helping the girl was also very important.
That was when Tatsumi also handed them the file bio of Lady Nagant as they all got the chance to read her situation and were honestly more surprised how she was forced to be a hero because of the president of the HPSC.
They certainly felt pity for the girl forced and groomed to this lifestyle because of the philosophy of solely becoming a hero. Something Ruby looked extremely disappointed on how humans treated each other.
As Tatsumi finished explaining the situation between the three he asked of their opinions to them in a curious tone, "So then guys what exactly are your thoughts in this manner? I was thinking of getting Rumi along with this, but I wanted to hear your guy's opinions first before I take any action."
They nodded thankfully for his foresight of asking their opinions before he does something rash as well as hear their thoughts on the manner. This kind of topic was very serious to handle but they each have their ways of how they would go.
The first to respond was Hinata as she thought about how to go about this as she responded her idea, "Hmm… if this Kai or Overhaul you speak of is looking for Eri how about we do the same as we did in the first quest with me disguised as Arlong in their home base. I can use my [Transformation Jutsu] to become Eri and while his guard is down, I place the quirk suppression cuffs on him."
Hearing her plan the members thought it was a good idea as Saeko places her thoughts in agreement with its own merits, "Yeah… this Kai would never expect for Eri to fight back. I mean with all the trauma she endured he never expects her to fight. Plus this Kai would have to be the guy actively searching for her as if he could let his goons take care of it if the police start asking questions."
Ruby also nods at this as she began to ask the remaining members with a positive tone, "Yeah. If we're to add the fact that Kai is defenseless it would be completely easier to take down. Considering his quirk, it would be very hard to do so but with the cuffs, his good is done."
Tatsumi agrees to this line of planning as he began to speak out his thoughts on the manner in a serious tone, "Yeah, I was originally thinking of having Rumi come along to assist us with this matter when Eri showed up. But from the way you guys planned it earlier seems a lot better than what I thought."
Saeko nodded at that as she responds to Tatsumi with a calm voice, "While I can see merit in what you say that depended on the fact this Rumi could trust us to begin with. After all, we have your words to go by but considering everyone here…"
Tatsumi raises his hand at that letting Saeko know what she meant as he finished her words for her getting the idea, "Yeah that person may not be the right person we expect them to be. I was thinking of that same idea actually to show trust. But if we have Kai force us his deeds and take photos of his place it might be a better idea than having Rumi come along."
Hinata was next to speak about the matter as she responds to how to deal with Kai in a calm voice with everyone listening, "Ok so we go in taking care of Kai with my idea I get. But what about we do about his powers though? If we mess up in taking care of him, we could potentially be in danger."
Tatsumi nods at this as he began to speak his opinion about how to deal with it as he smirks at them as he gives out his idea, "Right I thought about something Hinata. Will simply have him hand over his quirk to me simple right? With my body control, it should be simple enough for me."
Now that earned confusion between the members as Tatsumi explained that Kai could use his [Overhaul] quirk on him as he gives up his quirk by transferring to him once Kai activates it. And with his bodily complete control from the Kraken's Broth, he could simply use [Overhaul] as his own.
The members were skeptical about the idea as their concern was shown but that was when Tatsumi asked them they can get quirks from the villains that could be useful to them or simply have this power away from anyone truly evil-like Kai in safer hands.
Once Tatsumi said his words the other members thought about it as they see it as a highly potential use for the future or how Tatsumi could become useful to them.
For Saeko hearing, this power to completely heal diseases was a godsend to her once she returns to her world that will be filled with zombies so having something that can turn humans back again is key for her, and getting Tatsumi to favor helping her out would be even greater as she thought she will benefit from him more.
For Hinata, while it would be great if she could get [Overhaul] to be useful at healing she couldn't exactly use a quirk since she doesn't have a sure-fire plan to use it in her body without some kind of guarantee or ability at completely controlling her body. Plus, siding with Tatsumi could get her more points with him in her opinion so it was a win for her.
Ruby on the other hand was quite skeptical of the idea but getting another ability that used to be from a villain power could sound good to her. Also, she didn't care much if she got a quirk or not so long as she helps Eri it's more than enough for her.
After some thinking, they all nodded in agreement as they began to change into their ninja disguise from Hinata as Saeko didn't change as she spoke, "Ok then you guys will take care of Kai. I'll stay here and take care of Eri for the time being since one of us has to do the job I'll do it."
While they get changed Ruby asked Saeko in an innocent but curious voice to her somewhat actually surprised, "Wait really? I never knew you were so good with kids Saeko when did that happen?"
Saeko puffs her cheeks at that as she went over and pulled Ruby's cheeks as she cried out in pain listening to her words scolding the little red, "Puff! You know that is very rude Ruby has someone taught you some manners."
Ruby cried out in pain at that brief scolding rubbing her cheek as she apologizes to Saeko making her smile at this, "Ow! Ow! Ok, I get it already I promise not to question you!"
Tatsumi and Hinata laugh at the scene of the two playing around so casually dispersing the serious tension in the air earlier.
But with that Hinata transformed into Eri and went into acting as they began to go to Osaka where Tatsumi first found Eri and lay down the trap at the ready…

In the busy streets of Osaka, a certain Yakuza leader along with his goons were all very busy looking around missing their certain insurance to destroy the hero society of quirks for good.
Kai is a mysophobic, antisocial sociopath who is obsessed with returning the world to the way it was before the Quirk phenomenon Kai believes that Quirks are a plague on humanity, having infected people with "syndromes" of heroism and villainy.
Kai doesn't value humans, viewing people as pawns for their utilitarian value and being willing to experiment on them to accomplish his objectives.
In the earlier part of the day, Eri escaped from his grasp again when he learned that she erased someone with her [Rewind] quirk again and made a break to escape again. Kai was always the person to come and collect her.
Only Kai is the person suitable to fetch her because of his quirk [Overhaul] or else he would've been erased from Eri so he was the only guy to get her as she is traumatized by him and fear is a good chain to use on a kid.
That and he was the only blood-related relative she has as she erased her own family, and the father is sickly ill. Adding the fact that Eri doesn't have any public records of her birth or quirk registration she was a nobody in the world as Kai used his resources to erase any existence of her being alive or existing, to begin with.
As he was walking around, he was growing frustratingly annoyed by the fact that they couldn't find Eri as he began to speak to himself calmly, "Sigh… where are you Eri you know you can't be hiding forever… You'll know what happens when I get angry don't you?"
Wandering around the streets he happens to see a small girl with a horn hiding away in an alleyway as Kai smirks under his doctor mask as he thinks to himself, 'Heh. No matter where you go Eri I'm not letting you go. No villain or hero would stop me from finding you, my little girl.'
Motioning towards the girl in the alleyway unaware that two people were watching very closely to the scene above the building tops he went towards Eri with an open hand gesture as he spoke to her calmly, "Ah there you are Eri you made you poor old dad worry about you when you ran off like that? Now come here we shall get you home or you wouldn't want… something bad to happen…"
'Eri' looked at him and flinched but was beginning to get closer to Kai much to his disgust of her sitting near a garbage bag but steeled himself for punishing her later. After all, he has to keep a public appearance while his out in the open, or else people will be asking too many questions about their… 'relationship' status…
When Eri got close to Kai he grabbed her and held her up in his arms as he spoke out coldly but fondly at the same time, "Now then Eri… it's time we return home and don't worry. I'll be sure to lessen the punishment this – "
*Click*
That was when something wrapped around his wrist was there as his eyes looked on with surprise seeing quirk suppression cuffs on him as it deactivated his quirk of [Overhaul]. But he was more so surprised to see 'Eri' expression as she talked to him, "Sure thing Kai but please… be sure to not die."
*POOF*
*BAM*
That was when suddenly 'Eri' transformed back into Hinata as she slammed her fist into Kai's stomach making him hunch over Hinata's shoulders as he was coughing out spit in pain as the goons recognized Hinata disguise.
They soon brought out their pistols seeing the person in front of the attack during the day as one of them spoke, "Fuck! It's the Shinobi of Day Raid! We – "
*BOOM*
That was when they were suddenly invaded from a pressure unlike any other as they fell unconscious to Tatsumi [Conqueror Haki] as the goons were too weak-willed as he and Ruby came out from the top of the building.
As they came down no words were needed to be said as Tatsumi quickly used his [Shambhala] to teleport them all out of the way as they managed to capture Kai.

Once they materialized back into the building secluded from everyone else Hinata began to bind Kai as Tatsumi began to use his [Construct] to form a small enough dome caging only Hinata and Tatsumi.
Ruby looked at the guy as she began to get a video recorder at the ready as she told everyone in a proud tone, "Ok guys I have the video recorder ready at this… flip phone? How weird this thing is?"
Kai only glares at them as Hinata began to use her family [Curse Seal] on Kai's head as he glares at the three people.
Tatsumi then goes closer to Kai while having the mask on as he responds to him in a cold tone while releasing some of his [Conqueror Haki] solely at Kai as he talked, "Congrats scum you are about to become an internet sensation once you spill the deeds. But first I need you to hand over your quirk [Overhaul]?"
Removing the mask Kai spat on Tatsumi's face mask as he sighs at this while signaling Hinata to begin with her Genjutsu at him, "Well looks like we are going to have to force you the hard way then. But once you hand it over 'willingly' I'll personally begin with getting the information of your illegal use of child labor and torture. Hope you are ready to become famous in the next few days."
With that, they began to interrogate Kai and force him to give up his life's work along with everything he has in the process…
