章 14: The hidden area in the forest
After the forest was burned down, there was something suspicious... A single tree survived, not a single burn mark on it.
I threw a fireball at it, but it only faded away around it. I could come up with 2 conclusions...
1, there's a hidden dungeon below this tree...
2, this tree is a tree spirit...
I drew my sword and sliced it, but the tree is strong and will need several more cuts. But thankfully gaylord was online! So i invited him and we cut it down together.
He asked "why is this tree so tuff?" after one last swing it fell down. Then i told him "it's a tree spirit!"
Then he looked at me dead in the eyes "isn't this a rare opportunity... And you killed it!!!" i sighed and told him "relax, there are around 3 tree spirits in every forest, because most of the tree population burned away... One of the tree spirits will sacrifice himself to restore the forest."
Then as little yellow light released from the fallen tree, plants started to grow, and i said" we just did them a favor..." one of the lights then fell onto the fallen tree trunk, and a seedling was born.
"hence, new life was restored." then i poured a mana potion i got from the slime village to the tree, to help it grow into a stronger tree spirit.
Hunter looked around, and said "it's beautiful..." to ruin the moment i told him "you know you can just die and change your name right?"
He looked at me and asked "are you serious?" then i told him "yeah, considering your just a sex offender you'd most likely end up in jail, so you won't die! However there is a bad part to dying...
And he killed himself before even letting me explain. Welp it's his problem now! Once you die your class will change randomly, along with your race...
Because in this game many possible things are about realism! So he got reincarnated into a baby, his name is random aswell!
Thankfully though time here works... Differently... Because of the magic particles in the air the growth speed of children has increased by 166x, so he'll just have to suffer for an hour.
Well that's for players anyway, normal npcs will age the same as the one's in real life! I couldn't just wait for him because i have a life so i went inside.
I was falling for about 2 minutes until i saw a a large pool, it seems i am pretty deep inside the planet, if so, i might get a skillbook!
I looked around me and confirmed there's no land, except below. I took a deep breath and dived deep, my ears are ringing pretty loudly, i can feel blood leaving my left ear.
I saw an opening below, i was gonna run out of breathe but thankfully this waters are uninhabited, there's oxygen in the water.
I managed to get through a cave, apparently i was wrong, this isn't a dungeon, it's a hidden area. Less loot and no danger.
I waked inside the cave and saw a frost dragon demon... A rare and powerful demon! To many this might be a rare opportunity... Once defeated their powers will increase by a hundredfold!
This is not those opportunities this is suicide, thankfully though it seems to be sealed, not its powers but its senses, i can tell these seals anyday.
Sadly though the seal is incomplete, its sense of smell, sight, hear, and taste are gone, but with the sense of touch still active...
Even without seeing me this demon might even know where I am just from my breath! Well at least it's asleep.
I controlled my breathing to match his, i could tell from the expansion of his lungs, there also seems to be shaking from above, so i moved when the shaking was happening.
His breathing combined with the shaking overpowers my movement vibrations, i got past through it.
Past him was a hallway, this is only an area so there will be no traps, and i was right after getting to the end of the hallway there was not a single trap.
And i entered a room with an altar, in the middle is a scroll... And on the walls inscribed
"once the scroll is taken, the seals bestowed upon the frost dragon demon general will be released, along with the barrier keeping it here."
So this was the legendary demon General, the general who was sealed and was one of the demon Kings.
Well not like i care right now! I took the scroll and ran back to the demon, i took the spear head from the people i killed.
Then while he was still looking around wondering how he gained his vision back, i ran towards him, he turned his head towards me.
But it was too late i stabbed him in the chest with the spear head, as he groaned in pain i gave him the middle finger and with one hand tore an escape scroll.
Then i said "bye bitch!" i faded and then i went back into the city, then after a moment i heard a quake nearby... I smirked knowing my plan had worked...
Because i couldn't beat him even though he had a seal placed onto him... I'll just need the help of an entire city filled with soldiers and players to defeat an unsealed demon...
According to theory, to vent a demon's anger he will destroy the 1st thing he sees, then after cooling down he will try to destroy a city to vent the pain he felt.
And right now... We're the only city nearby...
