Morgan Crowley chose the right time and came over from his own villa.

When Chloe Stephens left school at noon and went straight back to the Golden Villa District, Morgan was already there.

"Stephens Godfrey, the matter at the Taylor Family didn't affect you, did it?"

"No."

"That's good," Morgan asked, "After taking your medicine last time, my cultivation has improved a lot, but some things don't feel quite right."

Chloe hesitated for a moment and pointed to a stone bench next to them.

Morgan sat down and, following Chloe's cue, stretched out his hand. He exclaimed in surprise, "Stephens Godfrey, you can even take a pulse!"

Chloe took his pulse, and in less than a minute, she withdrew her hand and looked at Morgan.

Morgan felt a chill down his spine, "What's the result? Do I have to go back again?"

"There's something wrong with what you're cultivating."

Morgan turned pale, "What... what do you mean?"
