"Please receive the chests," Solace gestured to the students to take the chests.
The bats flew closer and dropped the chests to the students. They caught the chests swiftly.
The student opened the case and saw its contents. Inside the chests, there were three items in there. The first item was a black key, with a two-digit number on the keyhole. While the second item was a silver necklace with a rectangular small plate, with their number names on it, and then lastly the third item was a small ring, with a small red gemstone.
"As you all see there is a key there. Those keys will be the keys to your dorms and the number that is engraved on them are your room numbers."
Myrene glanced at the key she had.
'if that's the case then my dorm number is 25.'
Solace continued his explanation. "The silver plate is your House ID. When your rank rises up, it automatically changes your name number. You must wear your nameplate all the time since it is a requirement to be able to attend all the classes and activities here, in other words, that will be one of the important requirements to attend the classes, so you better take care of it as much as you can. Though, it will never get lost since it has an anti-thievery enhancement. And will return to you regardless of where you are. But if you destroy it yourself, well of course it will not return to you anymore. Though I advised you not to do so. If it happens that it gets destroyed, we will replace it for you, however, you will be delayed as well in the classes and activities and you will not want that to happen." Again there was another sinister smile formed on Solace's lips.
"And the last one but of course, not the least,' there is a moment of silence that made everyone feel uncomfortable " Is your storage ring, it has another three items, first is your weapons that have been confiscated when you arrived here. Please remember that you can only use your weapons in your classes. The second item is your allowance there, 5000 gold Liam*. Every month you will only receive your new allowance allocation. So I advised you to use and consume it wisely. You better be independent in handling your finances. And the third is the Spade House Handbook. There are the other rules created by the Headmistress herself, your class schedule, and a map of the whole house so you won't get easily lost unless you don't know how to read a map." His eyes darkened and there was this sudden unknown pressure. "If you don't know something as simple as that. That would be unacceptable and insulting as children of the demon king."
Every one of the children winced with the unexplainable pressure.
"So I expected that every one of you could read maps right?"
'Why is he making a big deal about maps now? Is there something important about it for us?' Myrene gritted her teeth to stop herself from coughing blood. Some of the students already did.
"Yes we can," Most students answered right away. While Myrene and the two children who were with her glared at Solace.
"I can sense that there are still some of you who didn't answer my question." Solace glanced at Myrene's group.
Myrene could feel the grip of 81's hands tighten and trembled. While 60 was already as pale as a ghost. However, their eyes were looking at Solace full of hatred for some reason. From this, Myrene understood that these two would never answer Solace's question. "We-we can," Myrene answered.
"Good! And what about the other two with you,"
"The-the pressure you are releasing is too much for them. It makes it hard for them to talk and answer. But don't worry, I can assure you, that they can read maps." Myrene wiped the blood that had already come out of her mouth.
Solace peered at Myrene's eyes. And Myrene didn't avert it either. Then his sinister smile returned once again. "Ah, right. I see. If you say it like that, then if they can read maps then there is no problem about it." The pressure that everyone was feeling was gone in an instant. Making them breathe normally again.
Solace turned his back on them. "So now, I have told all of you everything you need to know. I hope that you keep that in your mind and be a responsible student. The bats that are flying in front of you will be your familiars here and will guide you to your rooms. They only stay at the East building and they eat and drink whatever you give them. That is all. See you all on Monday. Ah one more thing, since you have all free time tomorrow, I suggest that you familiarize yourself at the House, however never get lost. All of you should be in your rooms at 12 midnight. And in this place, don't trust anyone easily." He said the last part with a terrifying and cold voice that sent shivers to the children. And with that said, he disappeared.

Myrene followed the bat and she finally arrived at her room on the third floor. 60 and 81's rooms were on the second floor. When she held the doorknob, she was surprised that it was not locked. She slowly opened the door only to be more surprised and at the same time irked. The room was a complete mess, with papers and clothes scattered around. And Myrene was always maintaining cleanliness and order in her room. Definitely, the state of this room was already not something passable to her.
In the middle of it, was someone who was smiling from ear to ear. "You must be 100! Welcome my new roommate! I'm 50!" She said with a cheeky and playful smile. And the one thing that Myrene noticed was that she also had the same crimson eyes as her but there were big black eyebags under them. Her dark hair was also disheveled. However as she glanced at Myrene, her eyes were filled with sparkling excitement for some reason. She tried to stand up but as soon as she stepped forward, she stepped on some bottle and...
*Boogsh!*
She slipped and fell right away. "Ah!" When she tried to stand up once again, she stepped on another bottle and this time fell in front of Myrene. "Do-Don't worry, this big sister will take care of you now."
'Somehow, I'm more worried that you are the one who needs to be taken care of.'
"I can see that your heart is troubled." Myrene was surprised when Fifty was so close to her all of the sudden. More closely closed to her heart, as if she was listening to Myrene's heartbeat.
Out of reflex, Myrene pushed her away making 50 fell to the floor with her butt first.
"What do you think you are doing?" Myrene hissed as she stepped back.
50 smiled, not the very least offended by Myrene's actions. "Don't worry as I said before, I will take care of you now, little sister."

This was Myrene's first day at the House of Spades. And at the same time, she met her other half-siblings which would cause a lot more changes in her already chaotic life.
