They had soon realized that a servant couldn’t have been so strong so they thought it was a Li Family member in disguise who was targeting them specifically.

The older generation of the Li Family doesn’t usually meddle in the affairs of the younger generation, especially kids who weren't cultivators yet, so this went on for far longer than it should have.
