章 36: Chapter Thirty Six: the Theocracy’s Preparation
Meanwhile, at the Theocracy of Reogradia, the number of the force rises a bit more. Two individuals stand on a castle balcony that looks over the army. One wears a set of thick and highly decorated silver armor. He possesses brown hair, green eyes, and slightly tan skin. He also has a large X-shaped scar on the right side of his head. He carried a longsword on the right side of his waist with a wooden handle and a golden, t-shaped guard and pommel.
The other is a young woman with platinum blond hair, blue eyes, and light skin. She's dressed in white robes with golden, vine-like patterns all over it. She also has a golden ring on each of her fingers, and a silver necklace with a blue jewel on her neck. She holds a golden staff with a large, spherical, red jewel at the end.
"Everything is ready, High Priest ma'am. Over 5000 soldiers have been assembled and are ready to move towards the location of Ezekial's beacon," says the knight.
"Great. Take this with you, Micheal," the young woman answers as he hands the knight a black jewel that is the same size and shape as a baseball, "Use this only if there's no other option."
"What is this if you don't mind this disciple's asking?" Micheal asks as he receives the sphere,
"That is a powerful artifact, given to us by our god, Reogradia. If Ezekial activated his beacon, it can only mean that he encountered a powerful creature and was unable to defeat it. More than likely it's some undead that has made its home in those ruins. I highly doubt you'll need it, but it's just another precaution."
"Understood, my lord. However, if you want us to destroy the vampire kingdom, I suggest adding more to our ranks."
"Do not fret, good knight. Their kingdom will be destroyed in due time. You only need to make sure that that troublesome vampire girl is dead. The parents have been taken care of. At this point, she's the only one we need to focus on."
"Isn't this a little much for trying to destroy a single monster?"
"It's better to be over prepared than underprepared. We have no idea what Ezekial encountered in those ruins that made him activate his beacon. It could be quite a powerful foe. You're the one I've chosen to destroy this creature."
"What about the princess of Mikhail? Hasn't she been a little loud as of late? Would you like us to send someone to deal with her?" the knight asks.
"Do not worry. I plan on sending Colton to quiet her down."
"Ah, you're sending the famous Golden Scorpion? I knew that she's been mouthing off, but you're going all out."
"I have no choice. That disgusting lass is going around, trying to rally more fools for her pro peace faction. She needs to be silenced, and she's constantly surrounded by guards. The time is upon us. Soon all of those disgusting vampires and all other inhumans shall be exterminated like the vermin they are. And our world shall be purified once again. Do your duty, Micheal."
"For Reogradia," the knight says sternly.
"For Reogradia," answers the High Priest with a smile.
