The way Gille looked at Gawain showed how much he despised him.

His stare was sharp enough to kill someone. Gawain didn't flinch, nor was he afraid of what could happen next.

The focus of his hatred changed. Joan stopped smiling and closed her eyes, ignoring the torching gaze of her ex-fiancé.

Without wasting his time with fruitless words, he averted his eyes from his one true ambition and walked away. Gawain had done an excellent job of showing him his place. Now, a storm was rising inside Gille's mind, ready to tear this place apart without any semblance of hesitation. Eerie grace of silence followed in his footsteps.

His figure walked out of the comfort of the mansion into the endless downpour of rain. Moments later, he vanished from their sight.

"Gawain."

Joan called out to her disciple. Gawain turned around.

"Yes-"
