A young girl with silver hair and mixed-coloured eyes lay on her king-sized bed with her legs crossed. 

She browsed through her iPad, and the bored look on her face worsened when she found nothing more to do. 

She threw it beside her and sat up on the bed, then stood up and walked towards the huge window of her room. 

She gazed out from it and a sad expression emerged on her face when she saw people walking up and down and going about their daily duties. 

How much she long to be out there... All her life, she had been closely watched by her parents' guards and never allowed to step outside.

She doesn't even know what the outside world looks like, apart from the bit she sees from her window. 

A deep sigh fled her nose and she turned her head when the door of her room was pushed open.
