She gazed intently at the crib, and a deep breath exited her nose as she laid down, covering herself with the big blanket. 

The door to the bathroom was pushed open and Adrik, who had taken his shower, walked out. 

He made his way to the table and sat down, then dried his hair and combed it afterward. He tied it up into a bun and took a deep breath before gazing at his reflection in the mirror.

He dropped the brush back to its place, stood up from the chair, and made his way to the bed. 

He took a spot beside Leia and stared at her with different emotions in his eyes. "Little wife..." he called her, and she blinked her eyes open to look at him.
