章 384: This Is My Fault

The morning sun rose, and Ileus, who was sleeping beside Shawn, abruptly woke up, breathing heavily. "Shawn!" he said, glancing at his side and quickly checking if he was still alive. A relieved breath fled his nose when he saw that he was still breathing and alive. 

He had had such a terrible dream, and he was not ready to let it come true. He doesn't care any longer. What matters to him now is saving Shawn, and since it means breaking the mate bond, he will do it. He took a low breath and adjusted his seat to have himself facing Shawn, then grabbed his hand and gently caressed it.

The huge door to the mansion slammed open, and none other than Mr. Flynn barged in. He dashed into Ileus's room and pushed the door open, but when he didn't see him, the panic on his face intensified.

He quickly began to rush down the hallway towards the room where Shawn was kept, as he knew that that was the only place he would be if not his room.
