章 2: Tummy Life

*Astra's POV*

Regaining consciousness I realized that I still don't possess a body so I did the only thing I could and mentally called out for status. As soon as I said this a blue panel appeared in my mind

Skills: Great Ape Transformation, Zenkai, Healing Factor, Strengthened Stomach, Retractable Claws, Animalistic Senses, Gamer's Mind, Gamer's Body

[Great Ape Transformation] allows host to transform into a gigantic simian when looking at a moon increasing host's power level by a factor of 10

[Zenkai] increases host power level after each battle depending on the strength of host's opponent(s)

[Healing Factor] recovers host's HP at an almost instantaneous rate

[Strengthened Stomach] allows the host to eat more than host's body mass would suggest

[Retractable Claws] allow the host to grow three long claws from host's knuckles

[Animalistic Senses] enhances host's biological senses as well as strengthening host's sixth sense

[Gamer's Mind] prevents the host from being mind controlled or possessed and also prevents the host from being overwhelmed by emotions

[Gamer's Body] allows the host to live his life like a game of the RPG genre such as preventing host from receiving visible wounds, being amputated and also allows the host to recover all his HP by sleeping

'Dang I'm stacked' I think looking at my status noticing the distinct lack of any physical values but it does make sense considering I don't even have a body yet.

[One Hour Later]

Maaaaaaaaan it's so boring just sitting here without anything to do and I can't even try ki training because I haven't developed a body' I whin- no I complained to no one as the boredom finally started getting to me. This boredom is making me think of Goku and Vegeta kis- NO!!!!! don't you dare brain or else I'll commit seppuku first chance I get. I have to escape this nightmarish boredom as soon as possible but the question is how to do that. I pondered as I wondered if the system can help me. 'Hey system can you.....like knock me out until it's time for my birth?' just as I finished this thought a message flashed in my mind which simply said [Affirmative]. 'That's great! System knock me out and wake me after I've been placed in the incubation pod' receiving another [Affirmative] from the system I relaxed as darkness washed over me once again.

[Nine Months Later]

*Narrator's POV*

A purple colored alien in a white coat with gloves on his tentacles stood over a human like female figure with a tail. This figure is none other than Gine as she screamed in pain due to giving birth. Initially the purple alien tried his best to calm her but after a crushed tentacle he learned his lesson and let nature take it's course. After a bit more pushing and screaming the cries of two babies were heard.

An exhausted Gine asked the purple alien to bring her sons to her. The purple alien did as asked albeit very cautiously. Holding her sons Gine looked at them lovingly and said "You two are going to grow up to be really strong and handsome, I just know it. Unfortunately your father isn't here to see you" at the end her tone became wistful but after a moment she perked back up and announced their names saying that "You're going to be Kakarot" as she looked at Goku and then after thinking for a while she said "Your name is going to be...Cain" as she looked at Astra.

After a while longer Cain and Goku were taken from Gine to be escorted to the incubation chamber where a pink colored alien with a scouter on his eye checked their power levels. Looking at Astra he saw that Astra's power level is 169 which he deemed enough for him to become a decent middle class fighter. Expecting the same for Goku he checked Goku's power level but when he saw it he burst into a fit of laughter. When his companion asked him what he's laughing at the pink colored alien said "H...he has a p..p..power level of 2 hahahaha!!!!" in between his wheezing and laughs.

His companion not believing him aimed his scouter towards Goku and soon he also joined the pink colored alien in laughing like a madman. Placing Cain and Goku in their pods the two kept laughing while saying how they have to tell everyone in the division and how they are going to be amazed.

*Astra's POV*

Waking up to the screechy laughs of two tentacle aliens is not what I would describe as ideal but I guess there's no helping it. As I was listening to their disturbing screechy laughs a message flashed in front of my eyes saying [Incoming information detected. Does host want to receive this information?]. This confused Astra as he thought what this information could be but then he thought that maybe it's the information they give us in the incubation pod so we can become functional as soon as we exit the pod.

Confirming that he would like to receive the information Astra saw a message flash before his eyes saying [Understood] and right after receiving this message Astra was assaulted by a bunch of information teaching him about Saiyan culture, Saiyan history, Saiyan and universal language which surprisingly turned out to be Japanese and then the information about the Cold and Frieza force and what the Saiyans do for a living. As Cain was digesting this information a string of system messages appeared in front of him saying [Malicious mental suggestions detected] [Gamer's Mind activated] [Malicious mental suggestions exterminated]. Seeing this I broke out into mental cold sweat thanking the wheel for granting me this Gamer System. I guess this is how the Frieza force limits the amount of deserters and makes them more loyal to Frieza.

Well now that the brain fuckery is dealt with and I'm sufficently calmed let's take another look at my status. 'Status' I mentally called out and the panel showed me my current status which looked like
