章 30: Failed Experiment
"so that was all about pacifist and genocide timelines, any questions?" Jin raises an arm.
"No, I understand everything, let's just go to another timeline then."
"nah that's boring, let's continue forward, maybe we'll even ketch-up to the human, i dont know."
As the both of them continued walking down Snowdin, rustling sounds can be heard.
Serina stops to look around,"Did your hear anything?"
"ehh probably just your imagination" Jin said, not stopping on his tracks "oh hey look there's waterfall, let's keep going."
The sound of rustles gets louder as they kept walking... both of them stops.
"Are you sure it's nothing? It's getting quite loud now."
"yeah I was just joking with you previously, i hear it." but as soon as he said that, the sound stops.
Serina turns behind her to see what was making the sounds earlier, Jin however, kept being a useless statue.
"So they were the one making those noises, what should we do now?" Serina looks back at Jin, who was still spacing off somewhere, "Nevermind then."
It was difficult to see the appearance of the figure due to how strong the snow was.
"heheheh.."
But when blizzard calmed down, she saw a Sans that was at the brink of insanity and collapse; Insanity Sans.
"i am someone who people should run from... and today, i wonder how humans look like DISMEMBERED?"
The psychotic Sans then dashes towards Serina with a sharp pointy bone in his hand, aiming for her head.
"Hmp, too slow." Serina easily dodged it and quickly summoned red knives out of the ground in front of her, in which Insanity Sans teleports away from it in the last second.
"human... with magics.. INTERESTING."
"Hey, help me out here?!" Serina said to Jin, who was now sitting comfortably under a tree just a few feet from her.
"nah, im like, soo tired. so ima stay here, i'll be rooting for ya though."
Insanity throws the dismembered Papyrus head he was holding on to Serina at great speed. Serina managed to catch it but she was caught by surprise by the sudden appearance of Insanity right in front of her. Insanity throws a powerful punch, which she barely managed to block it as she was pushed back.
"Fine, I'll do this myself!" Serina summons her trusty magical knife and does 5 consecutive slashes on Insanity which he dodges them all.
Insanity fights back with a few punches before sending Serina to the air with blue magic then shoots several sharp pointy bones from below and 2 gaster blasters.
The 2 of the blasters fires a beam at Serina but was blocked by a big red shield, meanwhile the bones got easily deflected with a red spinning sytche.
Then a 3rd blaster rammed itself towards Serina but was completely destroyed by her knives.
" you human.. quite capable, huh?" As he said with a larger grin on his face, both Serina and the crazed skeleton prepares their attacks.
Serina thought of ending the fight soon.
The both of them dashes towards each other following a barrage of attacks behind them, but Jin stops time at the last second.
Jin gets up and walks towards them while time was frozen "ok i think we did enough, you guys are clearly making the author suffer right now, we can't have that now, can we?"
Then, the landscape around them distorts before appearing back in Jin's Pocket Dimension.
"welll only if you forced him to" Jin shrugs.
"anyways, where were we? ah yes, i forgot i forgot about this whole cliche. so what should i do now?"
"hm...." he ponders.
