" Arrest ? Mom! " Arainna asked not sounding pleased with the decision.
" Yes Arianna, arrest. That's the only way " her mother answered confidently.
" Mom outright arrest can not be the only way. We have no concrete evidence against her, she could easily deny it. " Arainna explained to her mother speaking really fast.
" Arainna leave that to me. We would send a carriage to get her, expect it by evening. You tell her to get prepared. She has an assignment here, perhaps that one of us is sick. We'd take it up from there. " Her mother told her authoritatively.
" Will you tell dad about it? " Arainna asked still skeptical about the decision.
" Naaaaah, your father is too emotional. I will deal with it my self. ( Arainna was silent ) Arainna don't worry, I wont be so harsh, although I might be harsh enough to make her speak. And if I don't find anything, she'd be released, trust me. " Her mother said conclusively.
" Okay! Let's hope it works. " Arianna answered, being left with no choice.
" Even if Brianna hap..pens to be de..ad ( Arainna's mother began again stammering and almost sobbing ) at least I should have the last honor of finding her remains. " She said with great depression in her voice.
" You'd be fine mom, we'd all be fine. Mom it's time to go. Let me get to Iris. "
" Yes you should. Take care! " Arianna's mother said, and Arianna terminated the call.
The door was opened wide. Prince Liam walked in majestically. Arainna was not sure if she had any positive feelings left for him. As he drew closer, her hatred for him increased. The picture of his kiss with Melissa kept flashing back into her head. She was officially his wife now. Brianna is not coming back, and she had resolved within her never to love him. Arainna's heart sank with heaviness.
" Good morning my lady " he greeted Arainna. Arianna didn't give a reply.
" Are you snobbing me? ( He asked her rather confused at Arianna's attitude ) c'mon if I did something wrong, you should atleast tell me, then I know what to do, not giving me this silent treatments. I am making an effort here Brianna. " prince Liam bursted out, running out of patience.
" Perhaps you should ask your mistress that and not me ! " Arainna fired back still laying on the bed.
" My mistress ? " Prince Liam asked pretending to be surprised. " He knew Arianna was talking about Melissa. ( He thought to himself ) oh Melissa had met with Brianna again, this is not going to be easy "
Arainna was quiet all the while. She was sure she had hit prince Liam at the right spot.
" Brianna if this is about Melissa, I told you before that she was and will still remain an history. I don't love her anymore. She is an ex and nothing more, nothing more my lady. "
Arianna sat up in shock. " Wait ( she laughed scornfully ) you are going to lie right before me ? What do you exactly mean when you say ' nothing more ' it doesn't include the fact that you were kissing her passionately yesterday or what? Damn you! You disgust me. " Arianna said standing up from the bed to walk away.
Prince Liam caught her hand quickly. He held them tightly, but didn't know what to say. He was ashamed. He didn't know that Arianna had caught them. He just kept breathing heavily.
" Brianna! I am so sorry that happened. ( He looked into her eyes, Arainna looked away, she was not ready to be charmed by the softness of his eyes ) please believe me Brianna, she forced me to do it. " He said speaking gently and full of remorse.
