章 165: No Chance

As James pulled her into the bathtub with him, Delilah had to change her clothes because she was wet. James didn't say anything except to give Delilah a soft and prolonged kiss, who had such sweet things for scrubbing his back.

After the strange bath, James had Delilah dry his wet hair with a towel in the walk-in closet. Delilah had already changed into her simple babydoll dress.

Her smile rose as she sat opposite James to lightly stroked his hair. While James still hung a smile and stared at Delilah. He wasn't even wearing a top with loose sweat pants.

"Now tell me, why are you pranking on me? What if I got poisoned with your cake?" James asked in a soft, nonjudgmental tone. Delilah felt so guilty, but her lips turned to pout at James instead.

"I'm sorry, Mr. J. I won't do that again." James nodded but still examined Delilah, hoping she would speak.
