章 71: Your Eyes Burn Me

Delilah was silent when she heard James' offer. James demanded she move to New York along with him. What was his reason anyway? Wasn't Delilah only a warranty who was supposed to pay her debts?

"Candy!" James startled Delilah's thoughtful mind by calling her name. Delilah was startled and cleared her throat gently. 

"Y-yes, Mr. J!" Delilah replied nervously. She was still perplexed with James' offer previously.

"Why are you quiet? Are you thinking something?" James still wanted her answer. Delilah was anxious now because James acted bizarrely towards her recently. Moreover, she has no idea what James intention at all.

"No, I was just thinking," Delilah slowly replied and made James pause for a moment. James then cleared his throat to release the weight in his head. It was such a burden to ask someone to move in with you.

"What do you think?" James reasked, still not letting go of his things on her.

"About what?"
