Nero then senses a ship approaching and heads to the shore.

When the ship docks on the shore Nero observes the party. 3 recognizable people. A old man who seemed to hold a high position, a young man seeming trained and carrying some secret and a young and beautiful girl. Judging from her interactions from the ship it seems she holds some high position like a daughter high noble. The crest is a royal family meaning she may be a princess...plus she was ordering a bunch of random soldiers
After analyzing them, Nero goes to greet them.

Princess Leona POV
(What a drag, I have to come to a monster island... Everyone was going like fortune teller baba told me I was going to be a Sage so...well maybe I'd be as cool as the wandering witch...
With those thoughts I step out of the ship followed by my guards
As I left the ship there was a young boy on the island seemly waiting for us...is he the hero? he doesn't seem like someone raised by monsters. he seems too calm...shouldn't he be shocked or amazed or fearful of us? didn't he just have a encounter with people who stole his friends?
Leona: hey are you
Nero: are you a princess
He interrupted me...how rude
Leona: yes...I am the Princess of Papnica Leona
He is staring at my face..no my chest. huh why is he staring so intently at my breast. I cover my chest with my hands

the old man looked at the two of them as they separated from each other. The princess sitting on a rock fanning herself and Nero was leaning on a tree.

Leona: what kind of idiot thinks that my guards would attack me
Nero: well according to books usually when a princess is going away she is attacked by high-ranking people. This is because their position is in question with them around.
Leona: what are you talking about position? I'm a princess! why would my position threaten anyone of these people
Nero: I don't know, I just assumed a highly capable princess with a good status starts implementing changes that would improve the lives of commoners but decrease the authority of the nobilities won't be seen in a positive light...what?
The princess moves closer to Nero and continues to talk: "So if they were to attack me I would need a hero to save me right" Nero nods. "So, would you save me if something was about to happen to me?"
Nero: Of course, I'd save you! for a price!
Leona voice went high in shocked " for a price! what?
Nero: Well for some a kiss from a beautiful girl such as yourself would be award.
Right before Nero was going to say however I prefer something more measurable such as gold, jewelry or treasure! he was interrupted by the old man.
old man *cough* No actually were here to get her a contracted with the earth god. She is prophesized to one day become a sage.
Nero:(Earth god? oh that's the earth spirit gnome. the source of all magic is the mother goddess. most consider them gods...well they are in some ways...is he still talking?)
old man: so we came to the island full of monsters to get the earth god's blessing but it is rather dangerous on this
Nero:sure
Old man looks at the young man: are you sure?
Nero: Yup! (Plus you are talking too much...)

It was decided the young man and one 4 others soldiers would come with Nero and Leona to the cave to get the blessing while the old man would stay by the pier.
As were walking to the cave Nero starts sighing. Leona had a puzzled look on her face
Nero: so you haven't noticed?
Leona was confused and asked what, but Nero ignored her thinking she must really be a princess.
After traveling for a bit the decided to take a break and Leona went to Nero who was contemplating something
Leona: here you go
She points a knife at Nero who nearly falls back from the blade being so close to him
Nero: ahh, I didn't take you for a yandere
Leona: Yandere? no this is a distinguishing knife of the papnika royal family, but they get mad when I carry it around so you can have it. Its better than that stick you carry around you
Nero: Ha...you really don't hold back do you...
Leona: isn't it better this way...your the same
Nero: yeah...it is better...but this is a well made knife...*Nero looks around noticing the young man is gone about to do something notoriuos. * "so...you really haven't noticed?
Leona: notice what? you had something on your mind for a while...
Nero: well... everyone other than those 4 guards had been giving you killing intent for a while now...its seems like they're planning on killing you...
Leona: eh EHHH!!!!!
