章 123: My Crime Family & MarineFord
After the whole WhiteBeard situation was said and done I had to ask Theo as it was on my mind, "So what was his illness that he was going through?"
"He was currently at the later stages of stage 2 Lung Cancer, he's very lucky that it wasn't at stage 3 or had spread to other body parts or else I wouldn't have been able to do much for him, but completely removing the cancerous tissue that was predominantly on the lung walls I was able to basically take apart one lung by removing more than 70% of its tissue before I used a bit of both my medicine and some of the water from the Chalices of Eternity to regrow the lung rapidly within an hour, then I did the same for the other one, and before I finished I cleaned out his Liver as well since it was looking pretty bad from all the drinking he had done throughout his life, then all I needed to do was seal up his body and the rest is just him relaxing and healing over time and he will be good as new, he won't need more chemotherapy to help keep the cancer at bay, so it's not impossible for him to live into his 100's at this rate, then again that's probably due to both his hardy physique and a bit from the chalice." Theo says as he explained to me what he did for the old man.
"Good basically he's cured and still has plenty of years ahead for him, well good for him, tomorrow I'll have a lot of things to do when we get home." I say as I nod to myself as I look at the rest of the crew who were collectively playing poker.
The people who were playing were, Catarina, Pizarro, Neviro, Zeek, Inoko, and Czorag with Nox playing as the dealer while everyone else was doing there own things.
On the table the cards that had been put down were 2 Queens, 1 nine, 1 four, and a King, there were only 2 people still in play Catarina and Zeek were still in and both had gone all in with the rest folding.
"Read'em and Weep! Kings over Queens Full house!" Zeek says as he shows his pair of Kings with a huge grin on his face as he looks at Catarina.
"Ohh I guess…" she says before she puts down her cards for the rest to see which shocks them as she has a pair of Queens, adding to the existing pair that makes 4 of a kind, "… I win" she says with a big toothy grin before taking all the money.
Zeek grabs his chest and falls to his knees, "That was all my drinking money for the month…. *Sniff* all gone….." he says as he begins to sob a bit before going over to Vasco and taking some of his alcohol which causes them to start fighting each other over it.
With Catarina just laughing at it all as she takes her winnings and continues with the poker match to try and drain everyone else dry of there money.
I just shake my head at there antics before I head over to my chair and relax as we make our way back home.

Looking out my window from my office, at the little town down below out here on Haven and am currently thinking to myself.
*So if I want to get a foot hold in West Blue, I'll either need to subordinate one of the 5 crime families, or I could just destroy one and make my own…. I think the 2nd option will be easier due to the 5 families constantly being in flux with only the Capone family being a constant since there boss, Capone Bege, keeps going out of his way to take out the other family heads… now the real question who is the best choice to lead my personal underworld crime family that I'll support from the shadows.* I think to myself as I look at my crew from a distance off doing there own things.
"I think I know who would be perfect for the job."

"Wait so you want me to start my own underworld crime family in the West Blue? I mean sure I was a king at one point so I know a thing or two about leading but I wasn't exactly a good one nya." Pizarro says after he hears what I'm asking him.
"I know that, but out of everyone in my crew besides me, your the only other person that I can say has lead people before, but since I have your absolutely loyalty already, (Since I made him sign the contract about my powers), I can summon up two people who will be let's say your brains and brawn for the beginning of your crew." I say before paying a lot of money to summon both Burning Grudge Mariano and Adviser Weiss.
"You two, you should already have a general gist of where we are, your mission is simple, help Pizarro here build a crime family down in West Blue, you'll use my other island in the south Calm Belt, Ancient Haven as your base of operations, all you guys need to really do is spread your influence down there and cut down some of the other crime families to get your own foot hold down there."
Mariano just pulls out a cigar and lights it, "Seems easy enough for me, get a foot hold, take out the other crews, and assert our position as top dog, got it."
"I'll try to advise them the best I can sir." Weiss says as he pushes up his glasses.
"Good, Pizarro, your ship has finished being made, I even put on Eternal Poses that point you to both here and Ancient Haven so you don't get lost on your journey, but you should look for a navigator for your ship if you really need one."
Though Pizarro just strokes his chin before nodding, "Alright I guess I'll do it, I'll make West Blue quake in fear of the Pizarro crime family!" He says before laughing and heading out of my office along with Mariano and Weiss.
"Well that's one thing out of the way, now as for the south blue I can deal with that at a later point in time, either find a crew to come under my own banner or make one down there to go around ruling the waves of South Blue, now I think it's time I give a certain girl of mine the crown I got just for her." I say to myself before I take a gate to the Isle of Man.
Though when I get back and start to head around the place I notice that the three Boa sisters are talking with Vivi still and same as last time they seem to be enjoying themselves.
Though before I go to them I realize something else I'm gonna have to do soon, *Im somehow gonna have to convince Sengoku or someone in the higher ups of the marines or the world government to rescind my old bounty that the Firebrand and Kuja Pirates have on us since I'm planning to marry legitimate royalty in the near future and so that should we ever throw away our identities as Warlords we won't be hunted down by the Marines or the Marines turning against Alabasta because I'm married to the future Queen of Alabasta.*
"Great…. Now I need to figure this out before I can go spend time with them then… guess I'm gonna have to talk with Sengoku and see what can be done about this, or if anything can be done…." I say to myself before I go back and take my gate straight to my ship.
Luckily Nami was already here so I can give her the gift I was planning to give her, "Nami, I got a present for you." I say as I come up behind her and wrap her up in my arms.
"Ohh? What did you get me?" She asks all excited like, I just smile some more before I pull out a crown that is similar to a tiara and place it on her head before I pull out a mirror for her to look at herself.
"EEEE!!! I love it! It suits me so well!" She says before she kisses me on the face as she looks herself in the mirror.
"It also helps you gain money easier, and also makes you lucky as well, I got it as a reward for completing a mission and you were the perfect person to give it too."
"Awww! Aren't you sweet." She says as she hugs me close to her before we begin to make out.
But after doing it for awhile I pull away, "We can have more fun later, for now we need to head off to MarineFord, I need to talk with Sengoku about somethings."
"Mmm… alright, will set off then." She said after snuggling up to me before heading back to her position and taking up the ship wheel as our ship begins to turn towards MarineFord.

A few days later, MarineFord, Sengoku's office.
"*Sigh*… Vargas, please tell me your not here to bring me bad news of some kind… every time you come here it's usually something bad your here to talk about." Sengoku says as he massaged his head at the sight of me.
"Oh Sengoku, you have little faith in me don't you? No I'm not here to bring you bad news, I'm here to tell you this, when and if both me and Hancock resign as Warlords, we want our bounty's to be rescinded and no longer be hunted down by the government." I say in a rather serious tone.
Sengoku looks at me for a moment before he wipes off his glasses before putting them back on, "Even though you have done a lot for the government, even saved an entire country as well, but even if I brought it up with the 5 elders, there's a good chance they would say no, though if you-" but I cut him off.
"Give up Eagle? Sengoku you and I know that even if I did and all you admirals were able to surround him by the entire navy, if he wants to get away, you can't stop him, and doing that puts both me and my wives at risk, that's the main reason why I don't give you any intel on him, so choose something else that I can do."
"Hmmmm…. Well there is a feasible solution, when someone retires from being a Warlord, such as the case with Jinbe, though he didn't do it so he still has his bounty, if your willing to pay the government your bounty plus 1/5th on top of your bounty, the government will rescind your bounty and will no longer hunt you down."
"Yeah and I know his bounty is already at 400,000,000 Berries, so your saying to rescind both my and her crews bounties, we would need to pay over 1 billon Berries, sure I probably could do that, but I need something easier…. Look I'll be honest, I'm engaged to the Princess of Alabasta, I will technically be considered true royalty by the World Governments standards, that's the other reason why I don't want me being a Warlord to effect that."
But hearing that makes him just grab his head some more, "You know what, I'm not gonna ask about that, but that in its own way is an issue since your not Doflamingo who has precedence in being the King of Dressrosa since it's his family's ancient home land he has the right to be king there, after he had also saved the kingdom so he has every rights to that title, but you on the other hand makes it complicated…"
"So then what is it that I can do that doesn't bankrupt me?"
"*Sigh* the only thing I could think of, at least after I get confirmation from the 5 Elders, that if you can do something similar to what you did with taking down Crocodile, or something similar would make you recognized as royalty, and when and if you stop being a Warlord you will officially be recognized as royalty, as for Boa Hancock, I'm sorry but you would still have to pay for her and her crews bounties for them to no longer be hunted down."
I just grab my head looking like that this was a very difficult situation, but internally I'm grinning as sometime soon I'll be taking down Doflamingo and presenting my evidence to the government will easily secure my title as a royal in no time at all.
*Sigh* "I understand, I'll see what I can do, I thank you for your time…" I say sadly before I leave, though without him seeing the wide grin on my face before I went back to my ship to head back home.
After him seeing me off, Sengoku goes back to his work before putting his remaining work away before calling the 5 elders personally, as this bit of information is rather important to relay to them.
But in the mean time I headed back to my ship and back on my way home to spend time with my family once again.
